Tender For Addn / Altn To Squash Court At Afs Thanjavur.; 1 Removal of Maple wooden flooring duly cleaning of surfaces thoroughly and supply and fix new wooden flooring with following specification and manufacturer instruction:-(a)Surface Board:- Made of Kiln Seasoned (moisture content of approximately 14% at the time time of dispatch), Treated Maple Wood finished with 24mm thick, 57 to 83 mm wide and in randomlength in tongue and groove shape. The edges of the boards will have a finger lock groove and the bottom side with air pass groove and treated with special anti termite and water resistant lacquer.(b)The Under Frame: Made of commercial quality pine wood runners of 70 mm x 45 mm, treated with anti-termite solution and fixed on the bottomside with 10 mm thick air cushioned padsstappled through the two wings at 300 mm x 300 mm. (c)Finishing:After laying the flooring, the floor boards will be levelled to a uniform surface and applied a thin coat of water based polish on the face.(c) Antitermite treatment of the surface area.(d)Sanding of courtby 60 x 120 grid paper(e)WSF approved standard game line marking of complete court on completion all as specified and as directed. 2 Taking down Chowkats or frames not exceeding 1.5 Sqm each (without taking off shutters from the frame) complete all as specified and as directed. 3 Taking down Chowkats or framesexceeding 1.5 Sqm each but not exdeeding 4 Sqm each(without taking off shutters from the frame) complete all as specified and as directed. 4 Supply and fixing factory made uPVC white colour fixed glazed window / ventilator made of (small series) frame 47 x 50 mm mullion 47 x 68 mm both having wall thickness of 1.9 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead of appropriate dimension (Area upto 0.75 sqm.) comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame and mullion (where ever required) extruded profilesduly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length(shape & size according to uPVC profile), uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, G.I. fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall, plastic packers, plastic caps and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, mullion (if required) shall bealso fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardwares and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame thegap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod ofrequired size and of approved quality, complete all as specified and as directed. (Fixing of Glass shall be measures and paid separately). Note: For uPVC frame, sash and mullion extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance indimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Stainless steel wire cloth 0.36mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.40mm and required accessories complete all as specified and as directed.(Fixing of Glass shall be measures and paid separately).Note: Net Opening will be measured for payment purpose. 6 Supply and fixing factory made UPVC door frame made of uPVC. extruded sections having an overall dimension (extruded section profile) 48x40 mm (tolerance ± 1 mm), with wall thickness 2.0 mm (± 0.2 mm), corners of the door frame Jointed with galvanized brackets and stainless steel screws, joints mitred and Plastic welded. The hinge side vertical of the frames reinforced by galvanized M.S. tube of size 19 X 19 mm and 1mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickness and 3 nos. stainless steel hinges fixed to the frame complete all as specified and as directed. 7 Supply and fixing 30 mm thick factory made Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) door shutter made of styles and rails of a uPVC hollow section of size 60x30 mm and wall thickness 2 mm (± 0.2 mm), with inbuilt decorative moulding edging on one side. The styles and rails mitred and jointed at the corners by means of M.S. galvanised/ plastic brackets of size 75x220 mm having wall thickness 1.0 mm and stainless steel screws. The styles of the shutter reinforced by inserting galvanised M.S. tube of size 25x20 mm and 1 mm (± 0.1 mm) wall thickenss. The lock rail made up of H section, a uPVC hollow section of size 100x30 mm and 2 mm ( + 0.2 mm) wall thickness fixed to the shutter styles by means of plastic/ galvanised M.S. U cleats.
