| 1 | Repair & maintenance of geyser of 25/50 Ltrs capacity existing make, carefully by disconnecting electric & water connection, dismantling and inspecting all the parts, for its serviceability, cleaning of serviceable parts i.e. heating element, base assy, connecting lead, thermostat, electrical contact, electrical wiring, indicators, safety valves, vacum control/pressure reducing valve, PVC connection, inner tank, outer tank, glass wool insulation etc and refixing the same after replacement of unserviceable parts matching with existingmake and sizes as mentioned above, re-assembling, reconnecting, refixing with electrical & water connections and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The defective parts to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item ofBOQ. (ii)Cost of minor items i.e. screws, nut & bolts, all T&P etc. shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. |

| 12 | Repair and servicing ofSolar water heaters of capacities 100 LPD to 300LPD of any make, carrying out the inspection of the all units of solar water heaters thouroghly, trace out the faults, and the repair the same at location or at the work shop etc. by disconnecting and dismantling the defective units, cleaning of all glass, checking solar insolation, direction of rays, cleaning the makeup water tank inlet and outlet connections, membrane etc. replacement of new spare parts, old serviceable parts etc. as required at site and reconnecting, reassembling the same after repair including testing complete all as specified and directed.Note : (i) The Spares parts and jointing material, PCC work etc. required for the repair after opening the solar water heaters shalll be carried out in the presence of JE/Engr-in-charge and the same will measured and paid separately as supply only under relevent items of BOQ. (ii)The fixing of existing serviceable parts shall be included in quoted rates without claiming any extra cost to department. (iii) All the T&P items, transportation shall be arranged by the contractor without claiming any extra cost to department.(iv) The cost of all new fittings PPR/GI Flange Nipple, dead Flange, EPDM Rubber flange gasket, flexiable hose pipe, collector nut bolt required clamp/Washer shall be arrange by the contractor be included in quoted rates without any claiming any extra charges. |
