| 1 | M&L for monthly Inspection, maintenance and serviceing of DG sets of the following capacities including alternator, electric panel board connection to DG set for routine check (A check) of DG set for smooth functioning and carrying out maintanance as directed.Monthly Service : A Check :(a) Checking engine oil level and topping up as and when required . Note : Oil shall be measures and paid separately. (b) Checking and adjusting the belt for tension and replacement of belt. Note : Belt shall be measured and paid seperately. (c) Checking of oil bath air cleaner level. (d) Checking of exhaust system for leakage (e) Draining of sediment from fuel filter and fuel tank (f) Cleaning of air cleaner element (g) Checking engine alternator coupling, mounting bolts and alignment (h) Tighting all nuts, bolts, in altenator terminal block (j) Checking of alternator carbon brush and connections in alternator (k) Checking and tighting of all connection in DC control wiring. (l) Checking of all radiator rubber hose and replacement if required. Note : Hose pipe shall be measured and paid separately (m) Checking and recording oil pressure, water and oil temperarute (n) Checking anti vibration mounting and replacement if required. Note : Anti vibration pad shall be measured and paid separately (o) Checking throttle linkage (p) Checking battery for cell test, electrolyte level, gravity and topping up to required level (q) Routine check / repair work of panel, switch, MCCB, main switch, all contactors, engine control unit. (r) Checking of AMF panel, all electrical connections etc. (s) Checking of earthing resistance (t) Cleaning of vegitation around the DG set up to 1.5 mtr area. (u) Checking Coolant Level in radiator,top it up if reqd with premix coolant. (v) Checking of vacuum indicator for air restriction.
