1	Uninstalling and dismantling the pump ,descaling and cleaning of all parts for inspection andCarefully assembling the pumps by using existing serviceable parts including replacement of gasket packings, greasing etc and replacement of unserviceable parts as directed, installed atNew Raw water Pump House, checking the serviceability. (iii)Thejob to be completed within 8 hrs from time of assignment to avoid interruption of Essential service on account of breakdown else contractor is liable for penalty as decided by Accepting Officer .(iv) The rate of repairing of gland packing work is measured and paid separately under respective item in theBOQ.
2	Lathe/ Machining worksof any type at workshop required for balancing the impeller, fixing of new parts to existing shafts required for proper setting and smooth functioning to achieve desired discharge of the pump complete all as specified and directed.
3	Supply only grease of suitable grade for spare parts of pumps complete all as specified and directed. Make: INDIAN OIL SERVO MP-3 or equivalent in HP.
4	Supply only Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) (Teflon) gland packing 6 to 24mm mm suitable for any size of pumps complete all as specified and directed.
5	Supply only BrassImpeller, 1st stage suitable for DSM 150/46 Kirloskar pump (180 HP) under item No 1 above.

51	Opening the pump remove the gland cover from the pump shaft by unscrewing the nut , bolt and washers, proper cleaning after removal of the old burnt gland packing from the pump replacing gland with new Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) (Teflon) gland packing of size 6 to 24mm suitable for Pump size 60 HP to 180 HP Refixing the gland cover carefully assembling of pumps with gasket packings, greasing etc all as specified and directed.Note : (i) Rate of spare parts like gland, gasket etc measured and paid separately in item No 04,15,19, 32 & 49. (ii)Thejob to be completed within 8 hrs from time of assignment to avoid interruption of Essential service on account of breakdown else contractor is liable for penalty as Rs 1000/day is recovered from contractors account.(iii) In every two months the contactor should send their mechanic to check the condition of Teflon and replace it
52	Dismantling carefully all water connections, decoupling of pumps/ motor from electric motor, taking out from foundation & transporting pump body/ motor to workshop for necessary machining works as directed &required and reinstalling the pump after rectification to its original position and commissioning etc Make Kirloskar, Model DSM 125/40 or DSM 150/45 or 80/36.Note : Necessary Gate pass signed by Contractor, AGE E/M and Security office of NDA will be provided by contractor.
53	Repair & rewinding of electric induction motor of Centrifugal Pump set by using supper enameled copper wire (Class -F) as per existing gauge, heating and varnishing complete. The electric motor of 3 phase, 415 Volt AC induction type of any make. the repair work involves taking out burnt winding coil from stator, cleaning of slots thoroughly, removing all dirt, grease and other unwanted particle, Capacity of motor 180 HP (135KW) complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:(i) Unit rate is deemed to be included for taking out motor from its position, shifting of motor from pump house to workshop, getting back to pump house after rectification, reinstalling at site, connecting up, couple with the pump and testing complete. (ii) Retrieved winding wire will be the contractor’s property & necessary credit amount is deduct from contractors as schedule of credit.(iIi) Cost of varnishing included Quoted Rates.

194	M&L for Providing services for removal of Filter Bed Media (Gravel & Sand) from Filter Bed of Size 6.5 x 4.5 mtr up to 1.5 mtr in depth as per existing arrangement and as per standard practices as mentioned below within the stipulated time period by employing suitable numbers of labour with necessary tool and plant to complete work on or before the stipulated time including cleaning of filter bed media (Gravels only) with fresh/clean water till complete removal of tiny dirt deposited on gravel and make it suitable to reuse and proper segregation of Gravels and sand for taking down old cracked tiles complete all as directed. A)Existing Layer of Media :-1) First Layer with Gravels of size 40mm size upto 300mm at the bottom of Bed. 2) Second Layer with Gravels of 30mm size upto 300mm above the first layer.3) Third layer with Gravels of 20mm size upto 300mm above the second layer.4) Fourth layer with sand 0.35-0.5mm size upto 600mm above the third Layer. Note : 1)One bed will be handed over at a time to complete said Job. 2) Contractor is responsible to complete the said job within stipulated time period of shutdown by deploying sufficient labour and material at a time.

(Old Gravel retrieved from Item No 172 above)2) Second Layer with Gravels of 30mm size upto 300mm above the first layer. (Old Gravel retrieved from Item No 172 above)3) Third layer with Gravels of 20mm size upto 300mm above the second layer. 196	Taking out existing spoiled sand ,accumulated mud/quartz sand etc.(Fine filter media) from the Rapid Gravity feedtype Filter Bed / Pressure filter of any size installed at Filter pump houseat NDA Khadakwasla, washingthoroughly, sieving and stacking size wise for reuse good quality sand andremoving the spoil from site complete all as directed
197	Taking out existing pavels/ Gravels of any size(filter media) from the Rapid Gravity type Filter Bed / pressure filter carefully, stacking the materials (size wise) where directed. Washing the Gravells/pavells thoroughly, sievingfor stacking size wise for re use of serviceable qtyall as specified and directed.
198	Labour only for Refilling (loose filling) of Pavels/Gravels of size as removed against item No 197 abovein the Filter Bed of rapid gravity filter complete all as directed.
199	Labour Only for Refilling (loose filling) quartz sand ofsize 02- 15mmas retrieved from item No 196 in the Filter Bed of rapid gravity filter complete all as directed .
200	M&L for Fresh quartz sand of size 0.45mm to 0.70mm and coefficient of uniformity shall be between1.3 to 1.7,and silica content should be not less than 90%, filling in layers in the Filter Beds, complete all as specified and directed.Note for item no 195 to 200 : The unit rate is deemed to be included for necessary T & P and scaffolding required for removing and refilling of sand/gravels from the filter beds.
201	M& L for replacement ofold brokenUPVC pipe 50mm dia from sand bed connecting with new pipe of dia 50mm fixing as per existing pipe all as specified and directed.,
202	Cleaning/ levelling of surface, abroute of vegetation by mechanical means using JCB earth equipment, all as specified and directed.
203	S&F Open well submersible Pump, 5 HP/3.7 KW, Electric driven 415 V, 3 PH Suction / Delivery of 50/50mm, Head 30-48Mtr, Discharge 425-100 LPMcomplete all as specified anddirected.
204	S&F Open well submersible Pump, 3 HP/2.2 KW, Electric driven 240 V, single PH Suction / Delivery of 50/40mm, rated voltage 380Volt Head 24 to 30 Mtr, Discharge 6-4.2 LPScompleteall as specified anddirected.
205	M& L in PCC type D2 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregates) as in foundation filling and mass concrete of all as specified and directed.
206	M & L for preparation of old/ existing treated Metal/ steel surface of any description not otherwisedescribesover 10cm width or girth and applying two coats synthetic enamelled paint different tint as directed as in painting to air pressure tank includingwelding the surface where required complete to make the tank leakage proof all as specified and directed.
