| 1 | Repair / maintenance of street / security lights any type, flood lights, post top lanterns or any other external lights in its position fixed on pole /building structure or by taking down to ground, if required, testing all the compenents / parts, wiring etc, identifying and replacing the defective components like electronic driver,surge protection device(SPD) connection wires/ cable, MCB etc including refixing the fittingto its original position (if taken down), including repair / maint of street light control timer & junction box all as directed .Note:(i)The rate against the above mentioned item is deemed for cost of labour and allied expenses only. (ii) Cost of spareselectronic driver, connection wire, MCB, timer contactor spares etc) replaced against above mentioned item will be measured & paid for separately under respective items of Sch \"A\" here-in-below.(iii) The contractor\"s representative will report to concerned JE E/M at 0900hrs daily to collect the list of defective street light fittings and will submit the completion report on the same daybefore 1730hrs to the JE E/M.(iv) The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of his men engaged for executing this work and he will provide all requisite safety equipments and clothings to his men and department shall not be responsible for any kind of mishap / accident / injury to his men. (v) The contractor has to rectify the defects / repair and make the street light functional within 24 hours from the time the list of defective street lights is handed over to him / his rep by the concerned JE E/M.In case the street light is not made functional for whatsoever reason within the specified time limit, an amount of Rs 150/- per such defective street light per day will be recovered from the amount due to him through RAR / Final Bill.The contractor shall carry out repair / maint work simultaneously JCOs/OR and followers residential area by engaging seprate team of electricians / technicians in order to ensure promptly & timely rectification of defects.(vi) The contractor shall maintain proper record of repair / maint in a binded register duly bringing out the details of spares replaced on each and every street light and get it authenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis. The contractor shall put up the maint record register to Engineer-in-charge for inspection every Monday or as and when asked for. (vii) The contractor shall maintain sufficient stock of spares / material required for repair / maint of street lights with the concerned JE E/M against the supply only items here-in-below. (viii) The details of street / security lights is enclosed as Appx A to Schedule A for general idea about the location and type of light fittings.(ix) Minimum 2x Electricians should be deployed to attend the complaints to ensure dusk to dawn serviceability of Street lights and ensure alternate arrangements to make fittings functionalall as specified and directed |
| 2 | Taking down the existing light fittings on multi mounting brackets from 16/21 mtrs highmast pole by taking on ground repairs/ replacing the defective parts like electronic drivers connection wires and refixing the same to its original position all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.
