M & L for Repairs to potholes any depth n,exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc, cutting around edges atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Repairs to pot holes depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm n.exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc, cutting around edges atleast 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5Kg per 10Sqm of paving bitumen (VG-30), putting in premixbituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed(including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings)complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Preparation of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes and removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for Applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 kg per 10 sq metre with VG 10 Gde bitumen complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L Premix bituminous macadam75mm or less consolidated thickness using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with 4% binder contentby weight of total mix spread with paver, roller and compacted to required gradient and camber with using power roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for bituminious premix SDAC (Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete) 40mm consolidated thickness using paving Bitumen VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, spread, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using mechanical paver and roller complete complete all as specified directed by Engr-in-charge.Note : The contractors quoted rates shall be deemed to include the following elements (i) The contractor shall got the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incorporating in the work. (ii) SDAC shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, contractor shall quoted his rates considering the bitumen contents at 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 50.00 per kilogram of binder but variation in binder plus side shall not be paid extra contractor shall qoute.

Preparation of new or previously treated road surfaces receive painting exc 10cm width and painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc. On road, pavements and the like to delineate the roads properly and indicate warnings and direction using white/yellow Thermmoplastic road marking paint @ 5Kg/Sqm, mixed with glass beads @ 250gm/Sqm, overall thickness measured 2.5mm, applied by mechanical means i.e. dispenser machine complete all specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions . Fixing by means of nails and epoxy fixing to road by hammering complete all specified and directed including taking down old unserviceable one.Make: 3D/Dark eye /Automat/Tata BP Solar India Ltd/ Green Lite or equivalent as approved by GE
