| 28 | Scope of Work for Consultancy 1. Preliminary Assessment and Analysis: o Conduct a detailed study of the catchment area contributing to the waterbody. o Identify and map existing stormwater drains, sewer lines, and other inflows. o Analyze the quality and quantity of incoming water from these sources, accounting for seasonal variations. 2. Capacity Assessment: o Evaluate the volume of water required to rejuvenate the waterbody. o Determine the STP capacity based on the hydrological assessment and catchment analysis. o Propose options to address any shortfall in water availability. 3. Design and Technical Specifications: o Develop a detailed design for the STP, ensuring it adheres to prescribed treated effluent quality standards (BOD, COD, TSS, etc.). o Include provisions for advanced treatment techniques, if necessary, to meet environmental norms and the specific requirements of the waterbody. o Optimize energy efficiency and ensure the design is environmentally sustainable. o The STP design must be vetted and approved by DDA-approved authorities or a competent government authority. 4. Detailed Estimate: o Prepare a detailed cost estimate for the project based on relevant manuals, codes, and standards. o Submit supporting references used for cost estimation and technical design. 5. Preparation of NIT (Notice Inviting Tender): o Draft and submit the NIT, ensuring compliance with DDA and government protocols. o Include all necessary technical and financial requirements for tendering.6. Compliance and Environmental Considerations: o Ensure the design complies with relevant local and national environmental regulations. o Conduct an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), if required. 7. Construction and Installation: o Provide a detailed project schedule for construction, testing, and commissioning of the STP. o Ensure robust civil, mechanical, and electrical systems. 8. Operation and Maintenance (O&M): o Propose an O&M plan for at least five years, including staff training and technology transfer. o Ensure consistent monitoring of effluent quality and system performance.
