| 5 | Providing and Painting with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) using APCODUR-CF-641 finishing coat at all locations and levels, prepared and applied as per manufacturers specifications including a priming coat if specified by the manufacturer, preparation of surface and etching with 10% commercial Hydrochloric acid wherever necessary and neutralizing the acid etched areas by washing with 5% solution of soda ash neatly and washing with sufficient water, after first coat Epoxy based trowelling compound if required, including preparation of the surface by scrapping, applying sand paper, filling the holes, joints, cracks if any, etc. complete all as per manufacturers Technical Data and as directed at site to achieve 200micron Dry film thickness (50 Micron Primer coat and 150micron finishing Coat). | 12 | Providing and applying a Anti-Carbonation coating to the external wall surfaces (Rough cast / Plain surfaces) at all locations and at all elevations including removing existing emulsion or any coat, preparing the surface, providing and applying a single component acrylic polymer based protective coating ‘Cera Infraguard – WA / Fosroc Dekguard E2000 / Sikagard 550 W IN or approved equivalent of a minimum of 2 coats over a primer coat with Cera Infraguard – WA primer / Fosroc Dekguard WB primer / Sikagard-552 IN Primer W’ or approved equivalent and cost of all materials, labour, tools, tackles, equipment’s, transport etc. complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per the specifications. The total dry film thickness of both coats excluding primary coat should be minimum of 200 microns. Note: 1) Scaffolding work will be paid in separate item. 2) The contractor shall arrange the suitable safety arrangements for executing the work at his own cost as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 13 | Providing and fixing double Tubular scaffolding system using H-Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in-Charge. Note : 1. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. 2. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 3. The scaffolding system drawing shall be got approved by Engineer-in-Charge. 4. The contractor has to observe all safety procedure while working on heights as per I.S. 3696 (Part-I) (Safety Code for scaffolds). 5. Screen of suitable material shall be provided to the full height of scaffolding and securely tied to protect falling objects coming out during the work is in progress. 6. Necessary aluminium / M.S. ladder shall be provided at the cost of the contractor, to the full height of scaffolding at required location around the building to enable Departmental Supervisor/Engineer climb up and closely watch the repair work of the building. |
