Tender For Providing Frp Gutter At Pped Building In Igcar, Kalpakkam.; 1 Providing and fixing double Tubular scaffolding system using H-Frames / APS system or (cup lock type) on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40mm dia M.S. tube 1.5m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in-charge. The elevation area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. 2 Providing and fixing 6mm thick fibre glass reinforced plastic (FRP) gutter of size 200x400mm fabricated using two coats of Isophthalic grade UV stabilized gel top coating followed by reinforcement of chopped strand mat and woven roving duly impregnated with unsaturated polyester isophthalic resin with extra reinforcement of MS strip of size 25x3mm at a distance of 1000mm c/c starting from one end of the gutter to be embedded with the gutter at all elevations including necessary fixtures for fixing etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 3 Providing, supplying, cutting, bending to shape, welding, fabricating, hoisting, placing and fixing in position structural steel members like MS structural embedment’s/pipe and sleeves/penetration etc. using MS angles, channels, I-sections, plates, tees, flats, rounds, sag rod, square sections etc. including chamfering and rounding off the edges, applying a coat of Red lead paint primer / Zinc chromate primer of approved make and 2 coats of flat oil paint / synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, scaffolding and staging required for fabrication as well as erection complete all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Lifting device arrangements if any required also arranged by the contractor at his own cost. 4 Providing and fixing PVC rain water downtake pipes conforming to IS:13592 Type A and PVC SWR Fittings & specials confirming to IS:14735, ‘Finolex’ or other approved equivalent make of pipes, fittings & specials including jointing with seal ring / with PVC solvent adhesive including fixing in walls/columns using clamps, anchor fasteners, bolts and teakwood packing pieces, joint testing etc complete all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 5 PVC SWR Rain water pipe 110mm outer dia 6 Providing and fixing of water proofing treatment using APP membrane in 2 layers using CERA WP SHIELD P4180 / Fosroc Torchseal 4PI or approved equivalent’ 4mm thick and ‘CERA WP SHIELD SLATED / Fosroc Torchseal 4PI or approved equivalent’’ 4mm thick at roof slab top, highbay area, expansion joint covering, gutter and over the screed concrete area etc., as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: I) The surface is clean, dry and moisture free achieved by cleaning the surface and application of one coat of bituminous primer over surface @ 0.3kg/sq.m. and 1st layer of 4-layered 4mm thick polymer reinforced APP membrane CERA WP SHIELD P4180 / Fosroc Torchseal 4PI shall be laid with 100mm overlapping by torching on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturers recommendation. II) The second layer of 4 or 5-layered, 4mm thick, polymer reinforced APP membrane CERA WP SHIELD – SLATED’ shall be laid with 100mm overlapping by torch - on application when the primed surface is tacky and as per the manufacturers recommendation shall be laid in perpendicular direction to the first layer. III) The area shall be tested for any leakages by ponding of water (water holding test) before and after application of treatment in panels. (panels shall be made by least ratio of cement mortar and the same shall be thoroughly cleaned before receiving further treatment). IV) The treatment should be done by an agency specialised in the job having sufficient knowledge of water proofing treatment. Suggested vendors : (1) M/s. Cera-Chem Pvt. Ltd., Chemicals (2) M/s. Sika India Pvt. Ltd. Chemicals 7 Providing and fixing roofing sheet, cladding with 0.47mm thick colour coated concelled system profile corrugated/semi corrugated/plain zincalume sheets of 55mpa yield stress (AS 1397 – Zincalume AZ 150) with coating class AS/NZS 2728 (minimum 150 grams per relevant standard) having a total coating thickness of 35 micron. The sheet should be rolled over specially designed concealed fixing clip manufactured from hi-tensile Aluminium Zinc alloy Zincalumen steel based and galvanized hooks. The clip should be fastened with minimum 40micron Zinc coated / minium 25micron Zinc-Tin alloy coated. The rate is inclusive of all fixtures required for fixing the side roof, cladding on all sides, ridges etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 8 Supplying and providing the approved make of STRIP SEAL upto 250mm width Expansion joint strip treatment for Roof slab/vertical wall area including chipping & surface preparation, applying adhesive as per strip seal manufacturer recommendation over the roof slab expansion joint to a minimum width of 50mm and aligning to the required line, overlapping of minimum 100mm of strip with suitable rubber adhesive, carefully removing of air pockets & wrinkles as specification and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The area shall be tested for any leakages by ponding water in panels. In case of any leaks found grouting shall be done with contractor cost. 9 Removing and relaying the existing roofing sheet / cladding sheets at a height of 11-15m and stacking at department specified location including necessary machineries, tools, consumables and labour charges as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 10 Removing / cutting of existing wooden window with glass pane with frame and fixing the existing frame with hold fast in to masonry structure neatly as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The cutting of existing window has to done carefully without damaging the remaining part of existing window to be fixed. Contractors are advised to visit to know about this item of job at site before quoting. 11 Providing and fixing 304 grade Stainless Steel pipes of approved size and make and quality by cutting to required size and placing in position including embedding if necessary complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 12 Supply, fabrication and fixing of G.I hood of size 500mm x 500mm for a total length of 1m, made with 22 gauge (0.8 mm thick) GI Sheet with Sheet metal flange, square / rectangular in shape including 45 degree elbow with mesh. The rate also includes fixing of the hood at 20.00m level elevation including removing of existing hood and necessary tools, equipment’s, fixtures etc., and as per drawing & as per instruction by Engineer-in-Charge.
