Special Repair To Existing Bituminous Surface And Approach Road At Cme Pune; 1 Scarifying or picking upgravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqmand depth exc 50 mm andn.exc 100 mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 2 M&L for laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness ) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as pe table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 3 M & L Repairs to pot holes any depth n,exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc, cutting around edges atleast 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primerVG -10 @ 5Kg per 10Sqm,putting in premixbituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder (VG-30)9.8 Kg per 10 Sqm of paving bitumen, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed(including supply of premixed macadam binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 4 M &L Preparing unsurfaced WMM/bituminous macadam surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms, and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bag to remove all loose dirt etc and for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous emulsion VG-10@ 7.5 kg per 10 Sqm with sprayer over existing surface etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 5 M & L Premix bituminous macadam (VG-30) with 4% binder content using paving bitumen) by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 6 Preparation of existing black top surfaces/bituminous macadam by brushing with wire brushes and removing caked mud etc sweeping with broom and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 7 M & L for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous emulsion VG-10 @ 2.5 kg per 10 Sqm with sprayer over bituminous macadam etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 8 M&L for providing bituminous pre-mix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolideted thickness with 5.5% binder content by (paving bitumen VG -30) weight of total mix. Laid withmechanical paver rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8to 12 ton power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.Note: The contractor quoted rate shall be deemed to include the following elements:(i) The contractor shall got the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incorporating in the work. (ii) Contractor shall submit the authenticated weigh batch receipt for every load of materials brought at site.(iii) In case variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in the quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted with price adjustment. 9 M&L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines,dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exe 10cm wide on road pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine including glass beads confirming to BS 6088, dry, free humps, good reflectivity and durability applying by drop on method all as specified in IRC 35 all as per manufacutres insturction complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 10 S&F in repairs cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 11 S &F in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. 12 M&L for rolling and consolidating SDAC surfaces with pneumatic tyred road roller of capacity 10 to 16 tonnes, after compaction with vibratory roller all as per SP 097 and complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
