Tender For Up Gradation/Widening Of Certain Existing Roads At Af Stn Sulur.; 1 M&L for Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed 2 Excavation over areas in any type of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width and getting out including disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5m all as directed by Engineer-in-charge 3 M&L for Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 12 tonne power roller including watering as necessary, filling in the depressions with approved earth which occur during the process, consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed 4 Removing excavated material to a distance exc.1.5 Km and n.exc.5.0 Km and deposit inside the MoD land wherever directed complete all as specified and as directed.Note: Lead upto 50m shall beincluded in the quoted rate of item No.02. Distance beyond 50m only shall be measured under this item. 5 M&L for Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade I as specifiedin Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and levelling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of at least 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and as directed 6 M&L Laying and compacting 250 mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM laid in three layers of 75 mm each, Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant, material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed 7 M&L Preparing WMM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed. 8 M& L for applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen of VG-10 grade @ 8Kg per10 Sqm withmechanical pressure sprayer over unsurfaced WMM etc complete all as specified and as directed 9 M&L for 65mm thick Premix bituminous macadam using 4% binder content (Paving Bitumen of VG-30 grade) by weight of total mix laid manually or with mechanical paver rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed 10 M&L forBituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (Paving bitumen of VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directedNote:-(a) In the event of excess quantity of binder content is necessitated due to mix design of asphaltic concrete, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost and no price adjustment shall be applicable in this regard. (b) SDAC shall be laid on the same day over BMwithout extra tack coat. If SDAC is not laid on the same day, tack coat @ 2.5 Kg /10 Sqm of bitumen shall be sprayed over BM without any extra cost. 11 S&F speed bump(PE material) of size 245 (L) x 730 (W) x 70 (H) mm with 2 Nos inbuilt highly reflective reflectors complete all as specified and as directedMake:- Dark Eye Model DA -1006or equivalent model of any other approved manufacturer in MES. Note:- The fixing shall be as directed by the manufacturer. 12 S&F Delineator made out of ABS body fitted withtwo high performance 100mm diareflectors and two rectangular reflectors of 70 x 23mm on both sides of guide postand shall be mouldedon powder coated steel pipe of 1010mm height complete all as specified and as directedMake:- Dark Eye Model DA -74, or equivalent model of any other approved manufacturer in MES. Note:- The quoted rate shall be inclusive of embedding delineator in PCC 1:2:4 (150mm x 150mm x 300mm) type B1 including cost of excavation 13 S&F Solar reflective type Cat eye (two way reflective) of aluminium alloy body of size 80 mm x 105 mm x 22 mmcomplete all as specified and as directed.Make:- Dark Eye Model DA -53 or equivalent model of any other approved manufacturer in MES. Note:- The fixing shall be as directed by the manufacturer. 14 S&F Traffic convex mirror of100cm dia having 100 degree viewing angle made of polycarbonate material , brim and back holding plate shall be made of Fibre Reinforced Plastic along with pole mounted brackets and polemade ofstainless steel pipe of 2.4m length fixed to the ground by means of PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm dia graded stone aggregate) in foundation (size 45cmx45cmx60cm) all as specified and as and as directed.Make:- Dark Eye Model DA -612, or equivalent in 3M. Note:- The fixing and fittingsshall be as directed by the manufacturer. 15 M&L hot applied thermoplastic compound 10cm width and 2.5mm thick (excluding thickness of glass beads ) and providing selecting glass beads @ 250gm per sqm as per IRC-135, finished surface to be levelled uniform and free from streaks and holes including cleaning of surface to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified & directedNote :- The line painting shall stand out boldly and solidly without showing signs of brush marks or surface underneath. If necessary, the surface shall be repainted until the desired result is obtained. 16 M&L for Brick work with modular fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed 17 M&L for Rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfacesfinished even and smooth without using extra cementcomplete all as specified and as directed 18 M&L for Preparing newplastered or unplastered surfaces ofwall and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and as directed
