Macadamization Of Keran Bazar To Keran Bala Road- 1 Supply, Stacking, Laying, spreading and compacting 75 mm thick graded stone aggregate of size range 63-45 mm size including screening of size range 13.20 mm, supply and stacking ofbinding material that is Khak Bajree including laying Water Bound Macadam, with specified stone aggregate / stone screening / binding material, including sorting and consolidation with power road roller 8-10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding material to fill up the interstices, watering and compacting to the required density, including cost and carriage ofmaterials to site of work, with all leads, lifts, loading, unloading, stacking, haulage,and octori taxes. (Finished work to be measured complete) as per Clause 405 of MOST Specifications. (Graded Crushed Stone aggregate) 2 WET MIX MACADAM: (75mm thick)Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge incl. cost and carriage of all involved materials to site of work complete crushed metal got from broken quarry metal. 3 Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG-10 incl. heating the bitumen with spraying the bitumen with mechnically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preapring the existing road surface to remove all dirt, dust , mud etc and finally booming the surface as per required specification incl all costs and carriages complete on WBM surface @ 0.75 kg/sqm 4 Providing and laying 50 mm thick Premix bituminous macadam base course with stone agg. of quality size and grading as specified in CPWD/MORTH specification and straight run bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 3.5% by weight of total mix incl. hot mixing of stone agg. and bitumen inhot mix plant, transporting mixed material and laying with paver finisher to the required level and grade, rolling with road roller of 8-10 tonne capacity to achieve the required compaction and density ( 50 mm compacted thickness) incl.all taxes, cost and carriage of all materials involved. including bitumen octroi charges, quality control carriage etc complete. 5 Providing and laying 25mm compacted thickness semi- dense Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder with bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of Aggregate) prepared in Drum Type Hot Mix Plant of 60-90 TPH capacity., transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equipped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge incl.all taxes, cost and carriage of all materials involved. including bitumen octroi charges, quality control carriage etc complete. 6 Providing and laying 6mm thick seal coat of premixed fine aggregate (passing 2.36mm and retained on 180 micron sieve) with bitumen using 128kg of bitumen of grade VG-10 bitumen per cum of fine aggregate (0.768 kg of bitumen per sqm) and 0.60cum of fine aggregate per 100 sqm of road surface including rolling and finishing complete including all taxes, cost and carriage of materials involved.
