| 1 | Design, Development, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Digital Feedback Station, Porunai Museum, Tirunelveli, for the Department of Archaeology, Government of Tamil NaduThe scope of the project involves the complete conceptualization development and deployment of digital feedback station titled The Vanni Tree at the Porunai Museum at the KorkaiB - block. This station aims to create an immersive and culturally resonant experience.And engage with an interactive digital mural by leaving messages.Pledges or feedback. These contributions will be represented visually on a growing digital tree, symbolizing communal memory and heritage. The experience will be made accessible via a 32 inch capacitive touch screen or a biometric thumbprint scanner supported by a 55 inch LED display. High performance PC will be used to drive the real time rendering of visuals and manage data input and storage. All hardware will be enclosed within a custom designed museum grade structure that is tamper proof., viisually appealing and ergonomically accessible. Power backup systems will ensure uninterrupted functionality. |
| 2 | The software component includes the development of a custom mural application designed around the Vanni Tree theme, with a user interface that supports both Tamil and English. Software will allow visitors to interact by entering their name, message or a pledge, and optionally record their digital signature or thumbprint.Each interaction will trigger a visual animation on the mural, symbolically adding a leaf or node to the tree. A content moderation module will be incorporated to review and filter inappropriate submissions.In addition to the mural interface, a data analytics dashboard will be developed to provide museum administrators with real time insights into visitors Interactions. The dash board will include features such as daily and monthly usage statistics with the ability to export data in various formats for reporting.Integration includes on site installation calibration and functional testing followed by a user acceptance testing phase. Once installed, the system will be handed over with a comprehensive documentation, including operational manuals and admin panel guides for the museum team. A one-time orientation session will be conducted to ensure smooth adoption. This digital feedback station is envisioned not only as a tool for gathering visitors feedback, but as a living, evolving installation that enhances the cultural and emotional connection of visitors with the Museum’s, exhibits and themes. |
