| 91 | Note (a)The rate quoted by the tenderer for item Ser No.01 to 89 above shall deemed to be inclusive for the following provisions in addition to the other conditions specified in the tender documents. No claim whatsoever shall be entertained at a later date on this account:- (i) Though the time period for completion of contract will be as specified in CA/work order, yet due to exigency of electrical related items emergency/priority works must be completed (within 24 Hours) on getting information through SMS/E-mail regarding the nature of repair to be carried out he shall immediately respond the same and make all out efforts to carry out the same on priority within 24 hours. In case of any delay in responding/ attending the repairs within 48 hours, the GE may at his absolute discretion impose penalty on the contractor at Rs 100/- per day per each work upto 05 (Five) days and Rs 200/- per day there after till completion of the work. Incase of delay without valid reasons as decided by GE. |
| 92 | (ii) Further, the above penalty is applicable even for the multiple works at multiple locations of work at the same period. It is responsiblity of contractor to make suitable arrangement for attending the repairs simultaneously at all the places.(iii) The decision of the GE as to weather of particular repair has been attended or not on a particular day will be final and binding. The above penality shall be in addition to the provisions made in clause 50 of IAFW-2249 i.e. (Compensation for delay in completion of work).Note (b) :- Tenderers/ Bidders are advised to visit the site and quote the rate accordingly. |
