Tender For Repair / Maintenance And Load Testing Of Hot/Eot Crane, Motorised Door And Other Misc Works At Hemrl Under Ge(I) Rnd Pashan; 1 Material and labour for Disconnecting and removing damaged gears, bearings etc of main drive gear assembly for servicing, repair including loading / unloadingand transporting to nearest work shop including refixing connecting commissioning and testing in position after carry out necessary repair and replacement of following items complete all as specified and as directed.(i) Supply and fix both side ball bearing with existing size and make as per numbers specified by OEM. Make SKF or equivalent as approved by GE complete all as specified including dismantling taking out old unserviceable bearing gear assembly complete all as specified and as directed.(ii) Replacement of worn out gear assembly (iii)Replacement of both side oil seals & gear oil of approved make and grade.(iv) Dismantling/taking down of any part of the crane which is not accessible from the upper surface of the crane, the contractor shall arrange suitable ladder/scaffolding and the rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.Note : Contractors are advised to visit site before quoting the rates. 2 Comprehensive maintenance consisting of normal repairs, Periodical and preventive maintenance and attending day-to-day break down / complaints offollowing cranes complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge (a) Manually operated chain pulley block any type of capacity 0.5 Ton to 5 Ton = 12 Nos 3 (b)Electrically operated over head travelling (EOT)cranes of capacityabove 2 Ton up to 5 Ton 4 (c)Electrically operated over head travelling (EOT) Flame proof cranes of capacityabove 2 Ton up to 5 Ton 5 (d)Electrically operated over head travelling (EOT) Flame proof cranes of capacityabove 7.5 Ton up to 20 Ton NOTES for item No 2 to 5:(i) Any complaints regarding breakdown must be attended within 24 hours failing which an amount of Rs 250/- per day will be recovered from RARs. In case of major repair / problems beyond the scope of contract, contractor has to intimate the department within 48 hours failing which a recovery as mentioned above will be affected.(ii)Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of the cost of all materials and labour required for dismantling and assembling of equipment in whole as a part there of and cost of minor spares and material required such as grease, cotton waste,lugs,nut bolts,washers, insulation tapes etc(iii) The cranes repair will be measured and paid on monthly basis.(iv)Major defects such as Long Travel /Cross Travel and hoist motor rewinding, replacment of faultybearings,shaft and gear assembly / VFD failure / Soft starter electronic cards etc does not includes in the rates quoted. (v) Materials like MCCBs, shoe brakes, brake drums, contactors, relays, steel wire ropes, etc.required for repairing will be measured and paid separately under relevant items of schedule as supply only.(vi)The quoted rate includes the cleaning of cranes ofdifferent capacity, cleaning of respective tracks and busbars.(vii) Repair/servicing to crane, LT panels, thruster, brakes, electric motors,greasing of steel ropes,limit switches,pendent push buttons complete on monthly basis includes in quoted rates. comprehansive maint, normal repairs, periodical preventive maint, day to day complaints / breakdown carried out for each crane in the entire months shall be measured as one Job.(viii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive all the clothing, safety equipment and other T & P required for carrying out the repairs / maintance. The contractor has to liase with the department in case of requirement of electric shut down of each machinery and has to make the machinery functional for the carrying out maintenance. 6 Testing full load test, deflection test, capacity test, speed test and break test and serviceability checking of each crane and hoist by authorized person in presence of Engr-in-Charge, JE (E/M) and Users representative and test certificate with list of defects if anyto be produced in duplicate.
