M&L for removing/taking down old dilapidated/damaged APP membrane except existing old bitumen intact layer but including removing old loosebitumen particles using wire brush, other mechanical means asper site requirement.

M&L for APP modified membrane water proofing treatment on roof slab as specified.(a) The roof surface shall be thoroughly wire brushed, washed, dried up & cleaned to remove all foreign materials & dust to receive primer.(b) On the dried roof surface apply a uniform coat of bitumen primer @ 0.40 liter/sqm till the surface properly impregnated.(c) On this primed surface, applying one coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 grade @ 1.20 Kg/sqm over the entire surfaces and then providing a layer of App Non woven polyster membrane (Make- STP/Asian Paints/IWL or equivalent make as approved by MES to use in the region) minimum weighing 3.0kg/sqm and minimum 3mm thick.(d)After laying APP membrane, applyinga coat of hot blown bitumen of 85/25 grade @ 1.20 Kg/sqm. (e) The overlap between membrane joints shall be 75mm on longitudinal direction and 100mm on transverse direction.(f) Top most layer of surface finish shall be with Isothane EMA Paint @ 0.50 KG/ SQM. Test certificate of cement and APP membrane is required during sample approval. specifications of material used should confirm to MES SSR 2009, Part-1.

Supply & Fixing rough cast wired glass exe. 1.00 Sq m but n. exe. 1.50 Sq. m , 6.40 mm thick and glazing with oil putty in square for north light glass all as per specification and as directed.

Taking down rain water pipes ( any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan necks, etc., including cleaning and re-fixing complete with all fitting or removal to store, all as specified and directed.

Trimming of tree branches over hanging over roofs etc. including shifting of debris / branches etc. at suitable place as directed.

Removal of rubbish, debris, soil, demolished building materials, or excavated material etc. to a distance exe. 1.50 KM but non exc. 5.00 KM and depositing where directed at a level n. exe. 1.50 m above the starting point complete as directed by Engineer In Charge.
