| 2 | M&L for supply, installation and testing of maintenance free chemical earthing system consisting of 99.9% pure copper solid rod type, UL approved copper boned earth rod of 10 feet length, 17.2 mm dia.(as per drg ) made of high tensile low carbon steel rod, molecularly bonded with 99.9% electrolytic grade copper on outer surface (minimum copper bonding thickness-250 microns) with exothermally jointed copper bus bar of 50 X 6 X 200 mm for connection. The rod and exothermic joint together successfully tested at 25KA fault current by CPRI with 50kg eco friendly earth enhancing compound with each earth rod. The earth pit should be 125mm dia, the compound should comply to IEC:62561-7 having passed leaching, corrosion, sulphur and resistivity test as per IEC: 62651-7 by NABL accredit lab with FRP earth pit cover of top size lockable Ltd. It includes GI protection pipe light grade of size 40mm dia with GI strip of size 32x6mm upto test point, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge. Note:- (a) Copper strip connecting between two earthing will be measured and paid separately to respective item. (b) Cost of earthwork and necessary PCC work for earthing pit is included in the above item. (c)Installation of earthing will be done by the company Engr a site. (d) Testing will be done by the company rep and 5years guarantee certificate will be submitted by the company and ISD for sum of 10% of guoted rate. (e) The test result of each set of earthing is less than 1 Ohm.All earthing test will be carried out in presence of MES rep manufacture rep and test result will be recorded in a register with sign of manufacturer & Engr-in-charge. (f) 5 Years guarantee certificate from company for maintaining earth result less than 1Ohm will be submitted by contractor. (g) 1425 RTC SS universal clamp of size 175x50x3mm.(h) Earth enhancing compound (PROCEM) ECS GB 25 tested as per IEC 62561-7-25kg.(j)Chemical earthing will be installed by manufacturer rep and purchase voucher of earthing will be produced before payment.Payment shall be made only after getting satisfactory result. |
