Tender For Repair To Certain Roads And Road Furniture At Af Stn Madh Island Under Ge Af Thane.; 1 M & L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc applying evenly a priming tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 grade @ 5kg per 10 Sqm. 2 M&L for preperation unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc swveeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose, dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm using paving bitumen (VG-10) Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge 3 M&L for Biluminous premix macadam using Paving bitumen VG-30 as 4% by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (Consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. 4 M&L for bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete (SDAC), 30 mm consolidated / compacted thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG-30) by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to reqired camber and gradient by using computerised Hot mix : plant mechanical paver and power roller of capacity 8 to 10 tonne etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : - (i) Filling of any pot holes (coming in the area to be carpeted) in the item not exc 30mm depth by material of premix asphaltic semi dense concrete is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 5 M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, path etc cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth making good by applying tack coat with paving bituminous primer at 5 Kg / 10 sqm putting premixed bituminius macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg/10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum stone chippings 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of pot holes exceeding 30mm, all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge 6 M8L painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters , etc. on roads pavements and the like n.exc. 10cm wide adequate No. of coats with road marking paint, white or golden yellow 7 Taking down old road studs CAT EYE (Raod stud) any size made of poly-carbonate mulderi body with electronically weided prismatic on both sides for maximum retro reflection in wet and dry condition complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Chrage 8 Supply and fixing cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplena reflector of model No DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions etc. all as specified and as directed
