spreading,levelling,watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each complete all as specified anddirected. 3 Removal of surplus soil not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified anddirected. 4 M & L for good quality dry sand cushioning to under ground electric cable on layer of 8 cm thick before size for HT 25x20 cm sizeincluding dismantling old one complete all as specified and directed. 29 S & F in replacement of HT lightening arrestor metal oxide type (gap less) heavy duty triple pole for 33 KV overhead line ,36 KV rated highest system voltage, long duration distribution discharge class type,IP 55 Degree of protection, 100(kVp) at 65 kAHigh current impulse withstand with normal discharge current of 10 KA complete with all fittings conforming to IS: 3070 part-3effectively connected with earthing system complete all as specified and directed. 30 M &Lin replacement of Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6 mm thick buried directly inground (Earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below normal ground level )with topedge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr belownormal ground level connecting with galvanizediron iron strip 32x6mm as earthing lead by means ofbolt nut check nuts and washersof galvanized iron and provision of GI tubing medium outdoor type, 33 KV gang operated switch, rotary type, double break of current rating upto 400 Amps, triple pole each pole consisting of galvanised steel base, HT insulators as per IS, non ferrous knife and spray, loaded contacts, arching horns of adequate section to break magnetizing current of the transformers, horizontal pipe of adequate length for phase seperation adequate length of GI pipe for operation from ground level and operating handle with locking arrangement complete in both ON and OFF position. Any damage to existing cables of any type and road will made good by the tenderer without any extra payment. 34 Maintenance & complete overhauling of 11 KV Breaker &Control Panelincluding dismantling of operating mechanism parts, well cleaning with petrol and replacing minor parts, reassembling of parts including well cleaning and complete panel board main bus bar, de- carbonizing all joints bus bar CT, PT, spouts metal parts and making breaker perfect operation in manual and electric mode including all routine and preventive maintenance complete all as specified and directed ( Spare parts will be measured and paid separately) INCLUDING Complete Calibration of11 KV Transformer control and relay panel complete such as ANN-annunciator, Master trip relay, Aux external trip relay, Trip CKT supervision relay,overcurrent & earth fault relay, auxillary relays etcand settings as per site conditions and manufacturers instructions by applying AC/DC to voltage coil unit and measuring the time taken by relay to have trip command etc including replacement of old /burnt wiring complete all as specified and directed.Note : (a) In case of major repairs/replacement in Breaker which can not be undertaken at site theBreaker shall be shifted at civil workshop and the cost shall be paid separately under relevant items.(b) Cost ofother necessary repairs shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item. Contractor shall bring the mechanic at site for first inspection of the Breaker after thatshall be shifted at workshop complete all as specified and directed. 35 Dismantling of old damaged racking mechanism & Supply, fix, testing & commissioning of four position racking mechanism for a circuit breaker in a cubicle or housing providing Connected, Test, Disconnect and Out positions with following specifications Racking lead screw is mounted in the circuit breaker structure in its own support, rear end of the racking screw is threaded to engage and move a travelling nut which rides in guide slots. The outer ends of the travelling nut engage a pair of connecting links which rotate a pivoted roller bracket. The roller bracket carries a racking roller which engages a cam slot in a member extending from the rear portion of the cubicle or housing. The shape of the cam slot plus the increasing lever arm of the connecting links around the pivot pin on the nut provide a variable racking force which is needed for primary disconnect contact engagement. The central positioning of the racking mechanism makes it suitable for existing 11 kV of circuit breaker.racking mechanism must be interlocked with the closing mechanism; releasable locking means and interlock means are provided to limit the operation of the racking mechanism to conditions which are safe for the operator; thus, the unlocking of the racking mechanism after the breaker is tripped will hold the trip mechanism and hold it trip free as long as the racking mechanism is unlocked.
