Bids Are Invited For BELT,CONV,M24,1000MM,1000/4,5X2MM, DESIGN SPEC: IS1891,P-1 1 Tolerance on width: As per IS-1881 but minus tolerance is no acceptable 2 Boll thickness As specified in our specification thickness of belt is measured from both edges of boll elther of about 200mm to 250mm or at 1/3rd distance chosen whichever is less at 10 places each and at the middle of the belt at 10 places taken at random (Total of 30 places) shall be with in tolerance. Minus tolerance is not acceptable, 3 Tolerarice on thickness As per IS 1891. However minus Iolerance is not acceptable. 4 Tolerance on cover thickness: As per IS 1801(Part-1) 5 Edge construction Cut-edge type construction Test as per IS 1891-3% max. 6 Elongation: At reference load: Test as per IS 1891-10% min. 7 Break: Elastic and Permanent Elongation: The elastic & permanent elongation shall not exceed 2% & 1.5% respectively when tested between following load cycles: 2% to 5% of FTTS. 2% to 10% of FTTS and 10% to 15% of FTTS. Test method in given in annexure-1. This will be a type test and carried out on one semple of each type of bell rating. B Adhesion(kN/M) Ply to Ply Cover to Ply: 5.25 Min 9 Troughability: 4.50 Min As per iS 1891 Part-1. One test for each belt rating shall be carried out. (ie. Type test only). 10 Tensile strength & Elongation at break for cover rubber: As per IS 1891 Part-1. 11 Change in tensile strength and Elongation after ageing for cover rubber. As per IS 1891 Part-1. 12 Abrasion of cover rubber: DIN 53516 120 Cu.MM(Max). This will be a type test for every Inspection call 9 Cover to Ply 14.50 Min Troughability: As per IS 1891 Part-1. One test for each belt raling shall be carried out. (i.e.. Type test only). 10 Tensile strength & Elongation at break for cover rubber: As per IB 1891 Part-1. 11 Change in tensile strength and Elongation after agning for cover rubber: As per IS 1891 Part-1. 12. Abrasion of cover rubber: DIN 53516 120 Cu.MM(Max). This will be a typo test for every inspection call. 13 Fabric: Nylon-6. 14 Carcass Longitudinal and Transverse joint in the fabric allowed as per IS 1891 Part-1 only. 15 Vulcanizing To be suitable for hot and cold vulcanizing. 16 Patch Repair Norma: A maximum number of 10 patch repairs per 100 mtrs of belt length, only on the top or bottom portion is acceptable. The maximum size of patch repair limited to (W/3)Sq where W is the width of the belt. The ropairs larger than 2500 sq.mm will be considered for the purpose of counting. 17 Tests: All tests to be amanged by supplier and witnessed by Inspection Engineer. 18 Form of Supply Belt should be supplied in the form of BELT ROLLS only. BELT ROLL length shall not be less than the specified roll length for each item, 19 Belt Roll Packing For a belt roll, the cross-section of central hole provided in the spool should be of Circular type made of Pipes of Min dia of 120mm up to 1400mm bell width and Min dia of 150mm beyond 1400mm belt width. These pipes should be of good quality and should be straight and should have a minimum wall thickness of 6-8mm. Gross weight to be indicated in crate. In case the supporting core used along with the above mentioned pipe is of Wooden type, the core should be of good quality and should not get crushed during belt feeding/Uncoiling..
