GENERAL-Investigation work for the new bridge at Neymakkad -Investigation works for the construction of new. Bridge at Neymakkad in Northern Outlet road(SH-17)-Investigation Work--- 1 Investigation 2 56.17.1:Providing access to the site,clearing site and making good to erecting and conducting soil testing transfers within the site and for any other temporary arrangements to be erected within the area in connection with conducting soil testing. 3 56.1.a:Mobilization including transportation of all necessary plant and equipments and materials of boring, field testing and sampling and demobilization after completing the work - For machine boring 4 56.2.a:Setting up boring at each bore hole locations including carrying all necessary plant, equipment and materials of boring and field tests and collection of samples at each bore hole location - For machine boring. 5 56.3.a.1:Boring with rotary power drilling equipments in - all types of soil having N value less than 50 excluding hard rock, soft rock or medium rock for strata upto 10m including conducting necessary S.P.T and recovery of undisturbed soil samples at 5m intervals - For ordinary soil. 6 56.5.a:Boring through all classes of rock excluding hard rocks having N value greater than 50 using tungsten carbide drilling bit - In land 7 56.4:Boring through all type of hard rock or similar refusal strata of N value greater than 50 using diamond core drilling bit for in land under water and banks of river. 8 56.6:Recovering undisturbed soil samples using thin tube sampler of 75mm.to 100mm length internal dia 500mm length conforming to relevant IS Code at any required depth including clearing the bore hole etc complete. 9 56.7:Conducting standard penetration test in bore hole at any depth. 10 56.8:Recovering disturbed samples and preserving the same in air tight sample containers including waxing labelling packing storing including cost of containers as per IS Code. 11 56.12.c:Total station surveying and preparation of site plan - In hilly terrain 12 56.14.a:Cross sectional details - River. 13 56.15.a:Hydraulic Velocity Calculation - River. 14 OD266031/2024-2025:Conducting traffic survey at either side of the existing bridge for 24 hours including the charges of man power engaged hire charges of temporary/permanent shed near the point of survey hire charges of chairs and tables,cost of lighting arrangement in night,expenses of stationery items etc.complete 15 OD266032/2024-2025:Testing charges for CBR Test of soil samples collected from the site in the laboratory including the charges of labour engaged for conducting the test in the lab etc including the collection of sub-grade soil samples carefully by excavating pit for laboratory test and refilling back and compacting the excavated pit to lines and levels with excavated materials as directed by the departmental officers at site. 16 56.11.a:Compilation of all field data with recommendation for a suitable foundation after conducting necessary lab test (report in triplicate) - Machine boring for 5 bore holes.
