Tender For (I) Special Repair And Painting Work Of Type-Iii Family Quarters (13 Nos)And(Ii) Special Repair And Painting Work Of Type-Iv (08 Nos) Family Quarters At 105 Raf Bn. Coimbatore (Tn).; 1 Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm 2 Nominal concrete 1:4:8 or leaner mix (i/c equivalent design mix) dismantling 3 Dismantling C.I. or asbestos rain water pipe with fittings and clamps including stacking the material within 50 metres lead :75 to 80 mm dia pipe. 4 Dismantling C.I. or asbestos rain water pipe with fittings and clamps including stacking the material within 50 metres lead :100 mm dia pipe 5 Dismantling of flushing cistern of all types (C.I./PVC/Vitreous China) including stacking of useful materials near the site and disposal of unserviceable materials within 50 metres lead. 6 Dismantling W.C. Pan of all sizes including disposal of dismantled materials i/c malba all complete as per directions of Engineer-in- Charge. 7 Dismantling G.I. pipes (external work) including excavation and refilling trenches after taking out the pipes, manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of pipes within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge : 15 mm to 40 mm nominal bore 8 Providing and applying PU waterproofing coating on the concrete base floor of sunken including cleaning & surface preparation of wherever cement finishing is required,etc. all complete. Surface preparation of 1st layer of 12mm cement mortar 1:3(P-sand) admixed with SBR latex based water proofing compound with micro gola of 50mmx50mm at all the flat and vertical junction using cement mortar 1:4 mixed with Nitobond SBR and sealing of all joints. On the well prepared surface applying ready to use single component of Polyurethane coating of Nitoproof 600 PF or equivalent applied at average minimum DFT of 1.3mm over a coat of epoxy primer Nitoprime 31 or equivalent including curved surfacesall complete as per manufacturers specification or as per direction of engineer-in-charge.The final layer is to be provided with 12mm cement plaster 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound (Fosroc or equivalent) @ 0.126kg/sqm over a Geo textile material. The rate includes preparation of surface, removal of dust from surface using compressed air, filling with cementitious repair mortar of Renderoc CS, bore packing by usingconbextra GP2 or equivalent, making coving etc., all complete as per the direction of Engineer in charge. The cost is inclusive of all materials, labours, tools and plants and carry the work at all heights and levels. 9 Providing and fixing unplasticised -PVC pipe clips of approved design to unplasticised - PVC rain water pipes by means of 50x50x50 mm hard wood plugs, screwed with M.S. screws of required length, including cutting brick work and fixing in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and making good the wall etc. complete. 75 mm 10 Providing and fixing unplasticised -PVC pipe clips of approved design to unplasticised - PVC rain water pipes by means of 50x50x50 mm hard wood plugs, screwed with M.S. screws of required length, including cutting brick work and fixing in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and making good the wall etc. complete. 110 mm 11 1:5:10 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 10 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) 12 Providing and fixing 100 mm sand cast Iron grating for gully trap. 13 Providing and fixing SS grating of approved quality and colour.Rectangular type with openable circular lid : 150 mm nominal size square 100 mm diameter of the inner hinged round grating 14 Providing and laying rectified Glazed Ceramic floor tiles of size 300x300mm or more (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of 1stquality conforming to IS : 15622, of approved make, in colours White, Ivory, Grey, Fume Red Brown, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4(1 Cement: 4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. 15 Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, including fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00 m spacing. This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. : Internal work - Exposed on wall 20 mm nominal outer dia. Brass extension nipple (size 15mmx50mm) of approved make and quality as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 21 Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS: 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approvedmake, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete. 22 Providing and fixing white vitreous china pedestal type water closet (European type W.C. pan) with seat and lid, 10 litre low level white P.V.C. flushing cistern, including flush pipe, with manually controlled device (handle lever), conforming to IS : 7231, with all fittings andfixtures complete, including cutting and making good the walls and floors wherever required : W.C. pan with ISI marked white solid plastic seat and lid 23 Providing and fixing C.P. brass bib cock (weight not below 450 gms) of approved quality conforming to IS:8931: 15 mm nominal bore.Trap 24 Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised Rigid - PVC SWR fittings/ accessories for conforming to IS : 13592 Type B, including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382, leaving 10 mm gap for thermal expansion.Floor trap: 110mm dia 25 Providing and fixing CP Brass Single lever telephonic wall mixer of quality & make Jaquar-FLR or equivalent as approved by Engineer in charge.(a) 15 mm nominal dia (weight not less than 1.5 kg) 26 Distempering with 1st quality acrylic distemper (ready mixed) having VOC content less than 50 gram/litre, of approved manufacturer and of required shade and colour all complete to achieve even shade and colour :New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer having VOC content less than50 gram/litre 27 Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shadeNew work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm) 28 Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. 29 Removing white or colour wash by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete 30 Renewing glass panes, with putty and nails wherever necessary including racking out the old putty: Float glass panes of nominal thickness 5 mm (weight not less than 12.5kg/sqm) 31 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : One or more coats on old work. 32 Repair to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sqm and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing plastering the wall surface with white cement based polymer modifiedself curing mortar, including disposal of rubbish, all completeas per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. 33 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side of building/structure, upto 25 metre height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 metre centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works. 34 The subject work will be carried out in phase wise manner. Estate officer/Engineer-in-Charge shall decide that total how many phases are required and how many quarters will be handed over for repair works in one phase subject to the availability of vacant quarters and decision of competent authority shall be final.All items to be used in this work should be branded and ISI certified or above-mentioned list/CPWD approved list of material may be followed. If any make is not specified, decision of Engineer-in-charge shall be final.
