BOQ

NAME OF WORK: DESIGN, MANUFACTURE, SUPPLY, DELIVERY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF ODOUR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR MAIN PUMPING STATION, KURUCHIKUPPAM AND INTERMEDIATE PUMPING STATOIN, KARUVADIKUPPAM, PUDUCHERRY
Sl. No. Item Description
1Design, Manufacture, Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Odour Control System (Activated Carbon Filter) for Main Pumping Station, Kuruchikuppam. The counter-flow scrubbing system arrangement is designed as per VDI 3679 German guidelines for design of odour control systems. The system is designed for an airflow capacity of 4500 m³/hr and an H₂S concentration of 150 ppm at the source, with suitable fresh air dilution of 12 times as per ATV M204E and NFPA 820 international standard for ventilation with at least 99.99% odour removal efficiency for effective odour (Hydrogen Sulphide gas) elimination from the source tanks. The system shall include the pre-filter with mist eliminator, Radial fan (Duty), Coal base adsorption unit with media, Inter-connecting ductwork within the system, On/off type switch cabinet, Differential pressure gauges, Inlet and outlet H2S monitors for measuring the concentration of Hydrogen Sulphide before and after treatment, Manual valves for water inlet, drain outlet and sampling ports, Tank covering system for the source tanks. The material of construction (MOC) for the vessel, ductwork, and covers will be a specially woven thermoplastic reinforced with orthotropic composite materials, such as SG-CSM-ECR mat, and PSR-4503 resin, providing UV resistance for outdoor applications and protection against corrosion and erosion from various air pollutants. The pre-filter media will be designed to efficiently trap moisture particles.
2The radial fan, responsible for extracting toxic gases, will have an airflow capacity of 4,500 m³/hr, with a static pressure range between 1,500-2,000 Pa, and will be constructed using high-grade stainless steel (SS316).The activated carbon filter media, such as \"Grasp-Sulfone\", will be virgin coal-based, pelletized, catalytically impregnated, and water-regenerable, ensuring a high H₂S adsorption capacity. It will be provided in sufficient quantity according to manufacturer standards to maintain the required contact time, following VDI 3679 guidelines for effective removal of toxic odorous gases. The rate includes all taxes, GST and cost for maintenance during defect liability period (DLP).
3Part-B: Design, manufacture, supply, delivery, and installation of self-standing type tank covers (half-barrel type without any external supports) with varying thicknesses of 6 mm designed to withstand toxic and corrosive environments, including UV resistance to cover the source tanks from the odour extraction areas with access opening, including complete cost of materials, transportation and labour charges, etc., complete at Kuruchikuppam SPS and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes all taxes, GST and cost for maintenance during defect liability period (DLP).
4Part-C: Design and construction of RCC civil foundation for the odour control system with M20 grade concrete with reinforcement of 12 mm rod with PCC plastering on the top layer including complete cost of materials, transportation and labour charges, etc., complete at KuruchikuppamSPS and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes all taxes, GST and cost for maintenance during defect liability period (DLP).
5Part – D: Design, manufacture, supply, delivery, and installation of external ductwork made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) ofrequired length as per site measurement designed to transfer the foul air from each source tanks to the Odour control system with all the required accessories, PVC Pipes and fittings for fresh water and drain line, power cables between MCC to panel board of OCS including complete cost of materials, transportation and labour charges, etc., complete at KuruchikuppamSPS and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. The rate includes all taxes, GST and cost for maintenance during defect liability period (DLP).
6Design, Manufacture, Supply, Delivery, Installation and Commissioning of Odour Control System (Activated Carbon Filter) for Intermediate Pumping Station, Karuvadikuppam. The counter-flow scrubbing system arrangement is designed as per VDI 3679 German guidelines for design of odour control systems. The system is designed for an airflow capacity of 9500 m³/hr and an H₂S concentration of 150 ppm at the source, with suitable fresh air dilution of 12 times as per ATV M204E and NFPA 820 international standard for ventilation with at least 99.99% odour removal efficiency for effective odour (Hydrogen Sulphide gas) elimination from the source tanks.
