Tender For Repair/ Maintenance Of Various Types Of Charpoy And Other Associated Works Under Bso In Ge (Central) Khadki-- 1 A) Taking down carefully unserviceable parts of various items of furniture listed here-in-after without disturbing the adjoining parts and supply and fixing new components in lieu of dismantled components made out of Indian teak wood seasoned (first class hard wood) unless specified below completely including tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, the wooden joints shall be fixed with bamboo pins and nails shall not be used. All joints and fixing shall be done by in accordance with the standard workmanship/ specification, wedging, glueing, providing hinges, placing everypart in-tact of the disturbed portion, as applicable as per drgs and as directed by EIC. B) Work will be executed where the furniture exist in different User Units/ Md accns under AOR of GE (C) khadki including BSOs Furniture Yard as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 2 Charpoy GI Pipe ply top (Drg No. FD-220) 3 Removing exsting unserviceable ply wood 12 mmfrom charpoy GI pipe and tightening each part of the entire frame of charpoy (i.e long rail, short rail, legs, elbow, check nut etc) by using pipe wrench whether loose or dismantled. Supply and fixing new 12 mm thick BWR Grade ply wood of ISI marked with new GI carriage bolt, nut and washers of size 6mm dia 62 to 65mm long or as directed. 4 Removing of old unservicable existing elbows and supply and fix newGI 3 way elbows 32mm dia ISI Mark Weight not less than 400 gm each all as specified and as directed. 5 Removing of existing unseviceable long rails from Charpoy GI pipe and supply and fix new long rails made out of GI pipe 32mm bore medium grade duly threaded at both ends as per existing shape & size complete as specified & directed 6 Removing exsting damaged short rails andfixing short rails to charpoy afterconversion from retrieved oldlong railsduly threaded at both endsand fixing the same as per exsting shape & size complete all as directed. 7 Removing exsting damaged legs andfixing legs of size 440mm long afterconversion from retrieved old short/ longrailsduly threaded at one end and another side welding with 3mm thick MS sheet base and mild steel brackets of required size, shape & numbers for fixingMNF set all as shown on drawing and as directed. 8 Removing of old unserviceable broken check nuts and supply and fix new GI check nut 32mm ISI Marked weight not less than 150 gram each, all as specified & directed by Engr-in-charge. 9 Removing of old unserviceable angle iron and Supply and fix of new Angle iron 25 x 25 x 05 mm two numbers shall be provided in equidistant of long rail by means of continuous welding at top of long rail to fix plywood without leaving gap. Angle iron shall have proper hole to fix plywood as directed. 10 Removing of old unserviceable flat iron and Supply and fix of new flat iron 25 x 4 mm cleat of length 60 mm shall be made to shape and fixed through continuous welding to each long rail – 2 Nos and each short rail – 2 Nos in equidistant. cleat shall have proper hole to fix plywood, as directed. 11 Material and labour for painting all steel sections with One coat of synthetic enamel paint of silver grey colourafter preparation of surface, all as directed. 12 BED HARD PLY TOP (FD-246 /247 or Similar) 13 Removing of old u/s head board and Supply and fix new head board made out of teak wood frame of size 900x600mm including leg all as per drg and as directed. 14 Removing of old u/s 4mm thick ply of the head board and Supply and fix new 04mm thick both side teak face ply ISI marked for both sides & complete teak wood beading shall be provided for head board all over complete all as directed. 15 Removing of old u/s foot board and supply and fix new foot board made out of teak wood frame of size 900x450mm including leg all as per drg and as directed. 16 Removing of old u/s 4mm thick ply of the foot board and Supply and fix new 04mm thick both side teak face ply ISI marked for both sides & complete teak wood beading shall be provided for foot board all over complete all as directed. 17 Removing of old broken long rails and Supply and fix new long rails of teak wood of size 1800x90x35mm long as per drg duly finished and complete all as directed. 18 Removing of old U/S ply wood top and Supply and fix new ply wood top of size 1800x900mm of 12mm thick commercial BWR/ISI mark complete as approved by GE & rest all as per drg. 19 Removing of old broken short rail/center stiffner and Supply and fix new short rails/center stiffner of teak wood of size 900x90x35mm long as per drg duly finished and complete all as directed. 20 Removing of old broken Wooden Bracket and Supply and fix new Wooden Bracket of teak wood of standard size duly finished and complete all as directed. 21 Only Tightening the joints, pinning, screwing, the wooden joints shall be fixed with bamboo pins and nails shall not be used. All joints and fixing shall be done by in accordance with the standard workmanship / specification, wedging, glueing, providing hinges, placing everypart in-tact of the disturbed portion as directed. 22 CHARPOY STEEL HARD TOP MAP(Drg No. FD/E6/MAP II/01) :- 23 Removing the u/s plywood 12 mm andSupply and fix new plywood 12 mm as shown on drg and as directed. 24 Material and labour for de-rusting, denting, scrapping, filling with putty including preparation of old steel surfaces and applying one coat of synthetic enamel blackcolourcomplete all as specified and as directed. 25 Removing old U/S shoes and Supply and fix new 32mmx32mm rubber shoes as pr drg. 26 Material and labour for spot gas welding to the broken parts/joints of MS Frame, cleats etc as required to make the charpoy steel hard top map in serviceable condition complete all as specified and as directed. 27 SOFA SET 5 SEATER / 4SEATER(Drg No. FD-281 or similar) 28 Removing the existing unserviceable covers from detachable foam cushion and Supply and fix new cover made out of superior quality tapestry cloth of approved quality (locally available), not less than Rs. 550/-per meter) duly stitched as per size of seat & one side be stitched with zip chain of approved quality complete all as specified & shown on drgs & approved by GE. 29 Supply and fix foam cushion 100 mm thick and 32/40 density, size 22”x21”x4” duly covered with new tapestry cloth & duly stitchedas per size of seat & one side be stitched with zip chain (of approved type/ design/colour) (not less than Rs. 550/- per mtr) of appropriate quality fixed as in repairs complete all as shown on drg, specified and as directed. 30 Removing the existing unserviceable front legs from Sofa set 04/05seater and Supply and fix new front leg made out of Teak Wood duly finished & complete to match the original as shown on Drg as directed. 31 Removing the existing unserviceable Rear legsfrom Sofa set 04/05seater and Supply and fix new Rear legs made out of Teak Wood duly finished & complete to match the original as shown on Drg as directed 32 Removing the existing unserviceable Batterns fromSofa set 04/05seaterand Supply and fix new Batternmade out of Teak Wood duly finished and complete to match the original as shown on Drg as directed 33 Removing the existing unserviceable Long Rails from Sofa set 05seater and Supply and fix new Long Rail made out of Teak Wood duly finished & complete to match the original as shown on Drg as directed 34 Removing the existing unserviceable Hand Rest from Sofa set 05seater and Supply and fix new Hand Rest made out of Teak Wood duly finished & complete to match the original as shown on Drg as directed 35 Removing the existing unserviceable Shorl Rail from Sofa Single seater and Supply and fix new Short Rail made out of Teak Wood duly finished & complete to match the original as shown on Drg as directed 36 BED HARD (Drg No. FD/E6MAP/08 R) 37 Removing the unserviceable plywood 12 mm ply and Supply and fix of 12mm BWR Grade plywood placed in position fitted with 30/35mm long nut bolts and wahers as shown in drg. 38 Removing the unserviceable prelaminated Particle board placed in head rest and Supply and fix 18/19 mm thick prelaminated Particle board placed in position for headrest by providing PVC beading alround the edges and duly fitted with screws as shown in drg and as directed. 39 Removing the unserviceable prelaminated Particle board placed in Foot rest and Supply and fix 18/19mm thick prelaminated Particle board placed in position for footrest by providing PVC beading alround the edges and duly fitted with screws as shown in drg and as directed. 40 Removing the unserviceable Shoes and supply and fix Rubber shoes 32mmx32mm of high quality placed in position as shown in drg and as directed. 41 Material and labour For Painting to bed hard steel of all steel surfaces with synthetic enamel paint of existing color after preparation of surfaces inluding grinding, emery and applying putty all as specified and as directed. 42 CHARPOY FOLDING IP (Drg No. FD-388) :- 43 Removing old unserviceable ply and Supply and fix Ply of 8/9mm BWR grade ply placed in position by necessary drilling and duly tightening with nut and bolts as shown in drg and as directed. 44 Removing the unserviceable flat iron stay and supply and fix 25mm x 6mm flat iron stay as shown in drg. 45 Removing the unserviceable Shoes and Supply and fixRubber shoes 25mm dia of high quality placed in position as shown in drg. 46 Materials and labour of one coat of synthetic enamel paint of existing colour on all steel portion of charpoy after grinding, emery and applying metal putty wherever necessary all as specified and directed. 47 Material and labour for french polishing of high glossy finish to all wooden items mentioned below. The Polish to be applied to wooden surface exposed to view interior and exterior after smothening of surface and applying suitable colour, wood filler (Wood sealer) wherever required to all furniture articles of MES pattern viz F/DB/FD/MAP series or Similar items incl applying wax for depressed surface before polishing all as specified and shown on drgs and as directed. 48 BED HARD PLY TOP (Drg No.FD-246 /247 or Similar) 49 Sofa Set 05 Seater (Drg No.FD-281) 50 Sofa Set 04 Seater (Drg No. FD-281)
