Special Conditions - 1) At The Time Of Dismantling/Cutting Of Tower, Power Block May Be Required And Concerned Sse/Ohes & Sse/Elect.(General) Will Assist For This Work For Smooth & Safe Dismantling Of Flood Light Towers. Remarks - 1) All Flood Light Towers Are In Standing Position. 2) Dismantling/Cutting Of Flood Light Tower Will Be Done By The Purchaser At His Own Cost & Risk Without Causing Any Loss Of Railway Property. 3) After Dismantling Released Material May Be Moved Manually Within Lead Of 30 Meters From Stacking Point. 4) Any Loss Due To Theft, Accident Etc. Shall Be The Sole Responsibility Of The Purchaser And No Claim On This Account Will Be Entertained By The Railway. 5) Due To Complexity Of Lots, Free Delivery Period Against This Lot Will Be 80 Days As Per Railway Board Letter No. 2015/Rs(S)/709/5 Dt. 29/01/2016 Under Chapter No.-7.4. 6) Material To Be Sold On As Is Where Is Basis And Will Be Delivered In Nos. 7) Pre-Dismantling Preparation Involved In Dismantling Of Flood Light Lattice Tower Structures: - I) Safety Briefing: - Conduct A Thorough Safety Briefing To All The Personnel Involved. Ii) Securing The Area: - Temporary Barricading Shall Be Provided On All Four Sides Of Lattice Tower For Suitable Working Area And To Restrict Unauthorized Access To The Site. Where Not Feasible, Alternative Measures Shall Be Adopted Such As Deputing Personnel To Avoid Unauthorized Entry, Warning Tapes Or Boards. Continuous Supervision Of Electrical And Engineering Supervisor Shall Be Adopted During Dismantling Of Lattice Tower; It Must Be Ensured That Area Around The Tower Is Clear And Free From Any Obstruction. Iii) Equipment Preparation: Necessary Equipment Required: - (A) Climbing Stairs (Generally Available With The Lattice Tower) (B) Electrical Operated Cutting Tools (Hand Grinder, Saws) With Suitable Generator Set. (C) Lifting Equipment (Rope, Pulleys Etc.) (D) Personal Protective Equipment (Safety Helmet, Safety Belt, Protective Glasses, Hand Gloves, Jacket Etc.) (E) Any Other Requisite Equipment To Complete The Job. Iv) Pre- Intimation To Concerned Departments: - Pre-Intimation In Prescribed Format Hard Copy Should Be Sent To Concerned Departments Regarding Date And Duration Fixed For Dismantling Of Structure. 8) Controlled Dismantling: - A) The Work Includes Cutting Of Existing Lattice Tower Ms Structure Into Suitable Small Pieces And Sizes. The Tower Shall Be Dismantled In A Controlled Manner Starting From The Top And Proceeding Downwards. B) Divide The Tower Into Manageable Sections For Safe Dismantling. Tie Small Section With Rope & Remove Bolt And Connections Through Cutting Tools. C) The Small Pieces And Sizes Shall Be Lowered Through The Inside Area Of Flood Light Tower With Suitable Rope & Chain Pulley Arrangements. Special Care To Be Taken For Not Falling Of Any Cut/Material Pieces Beyond The Cordon Area Which May Lead To Fatality To Nearby Moving Passenger And Trains. D) While Climbing Upon The Tower And Cutting Process All The Workers Should Wear Ppes. E) Care Should Be Taken To Adjacent Ohe Lines While Working.
