Tender For Procurement Of Pure Silver Coin Of 99.90 Percent Purity And Other Items; 1. Pure silver Coin of 99.90% purity, as per IS 2112:2014, BIS Hallmark, Weight 50 gm, Diameter 45 mm, Thickness 4.2 mm max and 3.6 mm min. a) On One side with 3D Picture of Dr. Homi Bhabha with projection of 45 mm die with name of HOMI JEHANGIR BHABHA in Hindi and English and Year. On other side with Name of the Institute (in Hindi and English) at the edge of the coin, and “25 Years of Service” at the center of the coin followed with signature design on the top and bottom as per picture and drawing attached (Silver Coin has to be made as per die provided by TIFR). Note: Approval of Image impression to be taken from us before production Sample to be brought for final examination before production. 53 Nos. 2. Fabrication of Brass Mounting Plate as per drawing. (Refer Drawing No. TIFR/2/21dated 5/7/21) Design specification: - Fabrication of Brass Plate of size 100 x 65 x 6 mm thickness as per drawing. - Engraving of TIFR Logo with Blue colour. embedded in it. - Fabrication of Rotating Brass Ring for mounting Silver Coin with Acrylic protective cover on both sides. - Fabrication of Plate Guide Pin in Brass - Polishing of all Brass parts with glossy finish | provide thin protective coating of lacquer matte finish. Assembly of Silver Coin with Brass Mounting Plate. 55 Nos. 4. Gold Plating (with 2- 3 Micron thickness of plating on the Silver Coins) for Silver Coins at Sr. No. 1 | 2 above. - The Gold plating should be long-lasting having 5 years of warranty. 55 Nos. 5. Engraving charges 55 Nos. 6. Packing: Complete assembly of Brass Mounting Plate with Silver Coin to be packed in a Red Velvet Box with Glass/Plastic/Acrylic Window to display Coin and Mounting plate with TIFR Logo. 55 Nos. 7. Certificate of purity for item no. 1 | 2 and warranty for item no. 4 to be provided at the time of delivery.
