Tender For Supply And Construction Of 01 X Mor Amn Bkr; 1 SCOPE OF WORK: (a) Description. Supply and Construction of MOR Amn Bkr of size length – 5.47m, width – 5.20m and height 2.1m from GL and construction materials as per Part II of RFP. Nos 01 2 Technical Specifications:- (a) Excavation. Excavation over area not exceeding 1.80m depth and getting out soft/hard/dense soil. Returning filling in layers not exceeding 25cm thickness including spreading, levelling, watering & ramming to avoid settlement in foundation and consolidation. Removal of surplus soil, depositing and spreading. (b) Size. Overall size of Amn Bunker is 5.47 x 5.20 x 2.10M from FFL as shown in Sketch ‘Q’. Plinth level shall be provided at 1200mm above ground level. Roof level shall be provided at 2100mm height from FFL as shown in Sketch ‘Q’ (c) Foundation Concrete. 150mm thick PCC (1:4:8) shall be provided at Brick wall/column footing using 40mm graded stone aggregate as per IS 383-1970 over 150mm thick 63mm hardcore (rammed) over rammed earth as shown in Sketch ‘Q. (d) RCC Columns. The main columns will be made of size 450mm x 450mm (10 Nos) having ht of 2.40m from GL to roof slab bottom and below GL the fdn shall be 1.20m x 0.30m (first footing), 1.00m x 0.15m (Second footing) over 150mm thick PCC (1:4:8) using 40mm agg over 150mm thick hard core using 63mm agg. As shown in sketch R. (e) Brick Wall. The main wall shall be 450mm thick. Brickwork in CM 1:6 using sub class ‘A’ bricks shall be provided in foundation in steps as per Sketch ‘Q’ and ht up to 1.2m above PL. PL/GL shall be provided below at 1.2m ht. Clear height from PL to roof level is 2400mm after FFL(floor finished level). (f)RCCLintel&Chajja. (i) Lintel shall be provided over the door (01Nos) and ventilators (04 Nos). X- section of lintel will be 450mm x 450mm as shown in Sketch ‘S’. (ii) RCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate shall be used for lintel. 8 Nos x 12mm dia TMT bar and stirrups of 8mm dia TMT bar @ 150mm c/c shall be provided as shown in Sketch ‘T’. (iii) 450mm width shall be provided to chajja for door, ventilators and loop holes using 12mm dia TMT bar as main bar and 8mm dia TMT bar as distribution bar @150 mm centre to centre. (g) Steel Door. MS Steel door of size 1.20m x 1.95m shall be provided with door frame made from angle iron of size 55mm x 55mm x 6mm and shutter frame made of angle iron of size 50mm x 50mm x 6mm with 06 Nos of hold fast welded on the door frame. The shutter shall be covered with 2mm thick MS sheet & 50mm x 6mm thick MS flat for braces and it will also have 4 Nos of 100mm long MS hinges welded on the frame. The door shall be provided with 2 Nos MS sliding door bolt of 300mm length. MS oxidized tower bolts of size 200mm at the top and 100mm at the bottom on shutter and two Nos of 150mm long handles of steel conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 all painted with two coats of synthetic enamel OG paint over a coat of red oxide primer as specified and complete as shown in Sketch ‘W’. Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL/ISI Marked Nos 01 (h) Steel Ventilator. 04 Nos Ventilator shall be provided at top of the wall at roof level. Prefabricated mild steel ventilator (double leaf) of size 0.60 x 0.60m with MS angle iron frame of size 50mm x 50mm x 6mm and shutter made of 2mm thick MS Sheet and frame size 40mm x 40mm x 6mm with bracing, 02 Nos MS Tower bolt, 01 Nos MS handle, 02 Nos 75mm long MS hinges and 4 Nos hold fast etc complete will be provided. 03 Nos Guard bars of 16mm dia MS plain bar shall be provided at each ventilator including wire mesh of size 25mm x 25mm complete as specified and shown in Sketch ‘X’. Make : TATA/SAIL/JINDAL/ISI Marked Nos 04 (j) Roofing. RCC Slab of thickeness 300mm with projection of 150mm all around as per Sketch ‘Q’ & T. (Make: TATA /SAIL/ JINDAL/ISI Marked) (k) Flooring/Sub Base. 50mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B1shall be provided, using 20mm graded stone aggregate as per IS 383-1970 adding WPC 3% by weight of cement, finished even and smooth without using extra cement over 100mm thick PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as per IS 383- 1970 over 150mm thick rammed stone boulder hardcore of size 63mm graded aggregate over rammed earth as shown in Sketch Q (l)Plastering. (i) Internal plastering 15mm thick of CM 1:6 finished even and fair without using extra cement. (ii) External Plastering 15 mm thick of CM 1:4 using WPC 3% by weight of cement shall be provided. (m)Painting. (i) Two coats of sythetic enamel paint over a coat of primer shall be provided for steel surface. (ii) Two coats of OBD shall be done to inner walls over a coat of primer (duly recommended by company) over a coat of 3mm thick wall putty applied on newly plastered surfaces. (iii) Two coats of cement based paint shall be done in camouflange pattern over a coat of primer (duly recommended by company) on newly plastered external surface. (Make :Berger/Nerolac/Shalimar) (n) Plinth Protection. 75mm thick plinth protection shall be provided with 1000mm width all around the bunker over PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using stone crushed aggregate graded 20mm as per IS-383- 1970 over 75mm thick hardcore over rammed earth as shown in Sketch Q Note : The steel structures will be designed as per the Design Parameters and dimensions enumerated above and as indicated in the drawings mentioned. All steel structures will be prepainted with two coats of OG synthetic enamel over one coat of primer red oxide and as per IS - 4923 - 1968 with manufacturer’s test certificate for structural properties. Note : Details missing, if any, will be finalised by accepting officer and to be provided by the supplier as per good engineering practice, and will be approved by inspection team of consignee as per manufacturer standard design. 3. Construction Mtrl (a) Cement OPC in 50 kg bags each grade 43, conforming to IS 8112-1989 (Make-Ambuja/ACC/Ultratech /JP). (b) Crushed stone crushed 20mm grade conforming to IS 383-1970. (c) Crushed stone aggregate 40mm grade conforming to IS 383-1970. (d) River sand conforming to IS 383-1970 (e) Hard core 63mm confirming to IS 383-1970 (f) Bricks sub class A of size 23cm x11.5 cm conforming to IS 1077-1986 (g) 8 mm dia TMT bar as per IS 1786-1979, Make- SAIL/TATA/JINDAL/ISI Marked (h) 12mm dia TMT bar as per IS 1786-1979, Make- SAIL/TATA/JINDAL/ISI Marked (j) 16mm dia TMT bar as per IS 1786-1979, Make- SAIL/TATA/JINDAL/ISI Marked (k) 20mm dia TMT bar as per IS 1786-1979, Make- SAIL/TATA/JINDAL/ISI Marked (l) Water proofing compound confirming to IS-2645-1975, ISI marked, Make- ACC/Pidilite/Dr Fixit (m) MS binding wire 0.9mm dia annealed.
