Repair/Replacement Of Worn Out , Connected Parts At Gate 4C,Gate 5B And Gate 3B Along With Allied Works Falling Under The Jurisdiction Of Misd-I Jammu- 1 Repair/replacement of worn out , connected parts at Gate 4C,Gate 5Band Gate 3B along with allied works falling under the jurisdiction of MISD-I Jammu 2 1. Repairs to damaged gate on distributary 4C of Ranbir canalby extractionof top hoisting channels, winch machine and gate leaf from their installed positions using manual labour/chain block and by cutting the old rusted nut bolts.Fabrication of new gate leaf of size approx. (2.25’X2.65’) ft using ISMC channel of 75X40x6mm size with requisite no. of cross members for proper support. Providing and then welding the MS sheet of 6mm thickness on the frame of channel structure and finishing the gate structure. Also making of provision for stem rod attachment. Providing/fixing of requisite ISMC channels wherever required for supporting smooth vertical movement of gate leaf in the civil structure for each gate by way of cutting/welding using superior quality electrodes. Job includes fabrication providing and fitting at site of hoisting channel-01 no fabricated out of MS Channel 100x50 mm of approx length 6ft each and proper anchoring in the PCC.Job also includes drilling of holes on top hoisting channels, clamps, base plate for fixing winch machine and stem rod. Complete painting of gate structure and the winch machine by way of providing two coats of superior quality paint after applying one coat of red oxide primer. Loading the gate structure along with winch machine on the mechanical transport for carrying to site of installation. Installation of gate structure by way of lowering the leaf into the sliding grooves using manual labour tools and tackles using hydraulic crane. Also keeping provision of civil concrete work for anchoring of the ISMC channels. Connecting the stem rod to the leaf structure after ensuring the proper alignment/gravity of the gate structure. Also providing of new operating lever for gate operation. Checking of the gate for smooth operation at site. Complete job includescost of material, transportation charges, labour charges and testing for its smooth operation at site.2. Repairs to damaged gate on distributary 5B of Ranbir canal of size (2’ x 4’) ft. Job includes complete dismantling of existing winch machine from its installed position and then extraction of gate by means of chain pulley block,tripod stand and manual labour. Shifting of the parts of the gate by mechanical transport to the workshop for repairs. Jobincludes repairing of winch machine by providing/fitting of gear set and then complete assembling of winch machine along with support lugs on the ISMC platform by means of providing and fitting of new nuts and bolts. Repairs to the stem rod i.e. straightening by heat treatment and rethreading of the damaged threads to the accurate specification for its smooth movement. Job also includes lowering of the gate to its closed position inside the channel using chain pulley block & tripod stand and providing/fitting of new set of nuts and bolts for mounting the gate on end of stem rod. Complete painting of gate structure and the winch machine by way of providing two coats of superior quality paint after applying one coat of red oxide primer. Complete Job includes cost of material, tools and tackles charges, crane charges, skilled/semi-skilled labour hire charges, hiring and carriage charges of welding set to site, hire charges of chain pulley block and tripod stand.3.
