Tender For Certain Misc Repairs To Periphery Security Wall At Old Amritsar Cantt; 1 Taking down cement plaster on brick, concrete or stone walls, etc. including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc. of any description complete all as specified and directed. 2 Material and Labourfor rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces on walls in CM 1:4 finishing even and smooth without using extracementcomplete all as specified and directed 3 Material and Labourfor preparation of new plastered surfaces and applying two coatsof cement base paint of shade as approved over a coat of cement primer on wall surfaces complete all as specified. 4 Material and Labourfor preparation of old plastered surfaces and applying two coatsof cement base paint of shade as approvedcomplete all as specified. 5 Demolition of brickwork, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. complete all as specified and directed. 6 Material and Labourforbrick work with sub class B bricks (old size) straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in CM1:4 complete all as specified and directed. 7 All as per Srl item No 06above but except bricks (old demolition serviceable bricks obtained fromshall be reused after necessary cleaning of mortar). 8 Material and labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0(using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregates) as in rounded or chamfered on edges, coping etc including necessary form work, if any and finishing exposed surface even and smooth using extra cement; Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. 9 Dismantling Asbestos cement ( corrugated, semicorrugated ,etc.) /fibre sheet andin roof coverings, boundry wall all as specified. 10 Dismantling Plain or corrugated galvalume of 0.50mm sheeting, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings, boundry wall, view cutter all as specified 11 Dismantling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc 12 Material and LabourCutting holes (not exc 150sq cm) or into wallls or through brick walls built in Cement Mortar and making good with cement mortar 1:3 or Cement Concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1 as required at site. 13 Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, including taking out embedded portion in concrete, brick work, masonry, etc. and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 14 Supply and fixingin Rolled mild steel work Fe 410 -W (Grade E- 250) quality A, as in posts with or withoutY/U/Swan Neck made of angle or other section, made to shape complete, welding, drilled for fixing or holding of barbed wire or chain link mesh, etc. or for fixing or holding of fibre glass sheet or holding of Galvalume sheet ; to be prepared for hanging or steel hangingfittings; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 15 Supply and fixingin Steel work in tubular trusses to make frame to holding of fibre glass sheet or holding of Galvalume sheet including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I.S 1161-1979 grade St. 240 complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 16 Supply and fixingin 2 mm thk Fibre glass reinforced translucent corrugated sheeting with two corrugations side lap fixed with coach screw and washer in colour having tensile strength ofas in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified. 17 Supply and fixingPre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of an colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws as specified. 18 Supply and fixingPre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick black colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, gates, fixed with self tapping screws as specified. 19 Supply & fixing in repairs Galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note :- Each line wire to be measured 20 Material and Labourfor black bituminous paint with two coat of surfaces of any description wood, steel,iron,concrete,brick,stone etc exceeding 10 cm in width or girth all as specified and directed. 21 Material and Labourpreparation of old painted surfaces of steel of any description over 10cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed. 22 Material and Labourtwo coats of synthetic enamel painting new untreated steel surfaces over 10 cm in width or girth over a coat of red oxide primer not otherwise described including preparation of surfaces 23 Material & labour for Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, without any attachment with riveted, bolted or neccesary welding attachment complete all as specified & directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. 24 Material and Labour forin replacemennt earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrod of size 60cmx60cmx6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically(earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level connected to galvanized iron or steel earth wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts nuts check nuts and GI washers of Galvanised iron protected by steel pipe 15mm (light grade) all as shown in elecrrical plate No.3 of SSR Part-I and connecting to earthing test point (earth test point to be provided at 5 metre distance from earth pit) and testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal dust and salt in alternate layers, 25 mm dia light grade GI pipe, funnel, wire mesh, Concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 for pit and RCC pit cover. The extra cost of the watering pipe, bends, elbows shall be included in the unit rate. Note : RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing notless than 4 Kg/Sqm,complete all as specified and directed.
