Repair/Maint Of Certain Roads Including Road Furniture At Af Station Bihta; 1 Repair to potholes any depth, not exc1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, spreading ,watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) but making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm all as specified. 2 Preparing of existingold black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etcand applyingevenly a tack coatwith bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10@ 5 Kg per ten square metrecomplete all as specified and as directed. 3 M&L 75 mm or less consolidated thickness premix bituminous macadamusing binder paving bitumen grade VG-30 at the rate of 4% of total mix weight by using Hot mix plant for mixing andmechanical paver for laid/rolled and compactedwith 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.Note:-Work shall be executed as perapproved design mix from NABLGovt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE.(ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government. 4 M&L Providing bituminous premixsemi denseasphaltic concrete 30 mmconsolidated thickness with minimum5.5 % binder contentby weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG-30 and fillar of 2% of cement using hot mix plant and laidby using mechanical paver, rolled and compactedwith 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- (i)Work shall be executed as perapproved design mix from NABLGovt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE.(ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government. 5 S&F in replacement of metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in cement concrete 1:2:4type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate having size 150mmx150mmx300mm including necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and as directed. Make:- 3M /Dark eye/Gogia Plastic as approved 6 S&F in replacement of solar tubular dealineator mounted on mild steel 50 mm dia pipe of 900 mm height duly powder coated and thermoplastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for solar protection including embedding in cement concrete 1:2:4type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate having size 150mmx150mmx300mm including necessary excavation and earth work complete all as specified and as directed. Make:- 3M /Dark eye/Gogia Plastic as approved 7 S&F in replacement solar cat eye aluminium alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to IP 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25 mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 Watt one NI-ed recharageable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consiting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd complete all as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed. 8 M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like in white/yellow shade on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirmingto BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (i)Road marking work shall be carried out in accordance with manufactures instructions and as specified.(ii)ReferMORTH specification ofPara803.4.2.1 and 800.4.2.2 on bituminous surface in white colour or yellow colour and super imposed with glass beads confirming to BS 6088 and MORTH specificationPara 803.4.3.3 9 S&F in replacement cat eye reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20 mm withPMMA striplens reflector of Model NoDA -972 fixed with and including mild steel stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and as directed.Make:-3M /Dark eye/Gogia Plastic as approved 10 S&F in replacement ofspeed bumps breakers made up of ABS plastic PU material rubber and black & yellow colour of size 500mm x 350 mm x 74mm with both side aluminium plated reflector anti skid UV resistance moisture and temperature including fixing using anchor botls and epoxy mortar grout complete all as specified and as directed.Make:-3M /Dark eye/Gogia Plastic as approved
