    Tender For Nabard-Csind-Nabard Ridf Xxixconstruction Of A Lock Cum Bridge At Ch.329.756 Km Of West Coast Canal Near Koottayi Rcb In Tirur Ponnanipuzha In Mangalam Grama Panchayat.-General Mechanical Work As per the request from the Executive Engineer, Irrigation Division, Malappuram vide letter No. D2-4699/2023(1) Dated 10/01/2024, the site was inspected. This estimate is prepared for Mechanical works for the Construction of a new lock cum bridge at ch:329.756 km of west coast canal near koottayi RCB in Tirur ponnanipuzha in Mangalam Grame Panchayat. This lock shutter is mainly intended for inland navigation purpose. This estimate is prepared based on a general drawing that approved by IDRB, Tvpm. AS per the General drawing from IDRB, Tvpm there are two chambers, one for Diamond Lock gates and Other for Vertical lifting gates. Provision for Design and drawing is given in this estimate. DIAMOND LOCK GATES For Diamond Lock shutters having four leaves at one end and same on other end of the chamber. The top portion of the hinge post is fixed to a “Y” shaped frame which is embedded and fixed to the side wall of the chamber and bottom portion on a Pintle Assembly. Each leaf carries 8m (W) and 4.50m (H) having 160mm free board. The skin plate of the diamond lock shutters are to be fabricated using 16mm MS plate. The horizontal
