Tender For Special Repairs To Ats Infra And Other Misc Operational Facilities At Af Stn Jorhat Under Ge (Af) Jorhat; 1 B/R SERVICES/ WORKS 2 Material & Labour for Cutting Flexible portion of bituminous pavement in regular shape with pneumatic tools as required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 3 Material & Labour for Providing and consolidating 75 mm thick premix Dense Asphaltic Concrete (DAC-1) using min 5.4% EIastomeric PMB 64-10 binder by weight of total mix, aggregate gradation as per Bituminous Concrete Grading 1 of Table 500-17 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed. 4 Providing of Self Adhesive Glass Fibre Grid 8501 interlayer that shall be composed of high strength glass filament yarns knitted into a grid with tensile strength ≥100 X100 kN/m, Coated with a thermal stable elastomeric polymer with melting point ˃ 250°C. Knitting and coating give the interlayer the necessary stiffness and ability to transfer loads in the pavement. It shall ensure protection against damage during installation, under trafficking and paving with retained tensile strength ≥ 80%, and resist melting under hot asphalt mix compaction of High Modulus Glas Grid 8501 of mesh size not exceeding 12.5 mm x 12.5 mm. The self adhesive Glas Grid reinforcement after laying over the Pavement shall be pressed fully with a rubber tired roller and glued to pavement surface with pull-off strength ≥ 9 kg over 1 sqm area. The product shall be proven to be harmless environmentally and remains recyclable after life cycle. The product when used as reinforcement in asphalt mixtures, shall show enhanced fatigue life when tested in accordance with international standards (EN 12697-24; AASHTO T321; ASTM D7460). The product shall have interfacial bond strength at least > 0.75 × control samples when tested as per EN 12697-48. The product shall have third party certificates with proven performance in accelerated testing and field testing complete all as specified and as directed. 5 Providing and consolidating 150 mm thick premix Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM Grading-II) using min 4.5% VG 30 grade binder by weight of total mix aggregate gradation as per Grading 2 of Table 500- 1 0 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. 6 Material, Laying and compacting 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Mecadam (WMM) laid in two layers of 75 mm each layer, grading as per Table 400-13 of MoRTH specification for oad and bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean crushed graded aggregate and granular material premixed with water to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight and consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed. the finished surfaces tolerence to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed. 7 Material, Laying and compacting 200 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) as per Grade II as specified table 900-1 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works, 2013 in a sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed,,spread and levelling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequeate capacity and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100kn static weight for acheiving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the maximum dry density.consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surfaces tolerence as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and as directed. 8 Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.7-1 kg/sqm on surface of WMM / WBM as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed . 9 Applying evenly a prime coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion SS1 confirming to IS:8887 at a rate of application of 0.9-1.2 kg /sqm on surface of stabilized soil bases/ crusher run macadam as specified in Table 500-3 of MoRTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and as directed. 10 Removing of demolished materials obtained from demolition to a distance exc 1.5 km but n exc 5 km and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed. 11 Racking out of old existing sealant compound, back up rod and filler board of the existing expansion joints by special tools like racker/cutting blades/machines , widening of joints by 2 mm by using joint cutting blades of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air, Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debrisand Application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the filler board and pouring the sealant, thereafter filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, over it filled with closed cell medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia for complete length of the joint. Finally filled with polyurethane joint sealant meeting the requirements mentioned in BS-5212, BS 4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor MAF of + 30%complete all as specified and as directed. 12 Material & labour for making good/repair to potholes in concrete slabs (exposed rigid pavement) by cutting area exc 50 Sqcm and cutting spilled joint ,sides perpendicularand parallel to edges by mechnical tools like diamond cutter, cleaning with compressed air underpressureand filling with Elastomeric Compound Concrete mixing proportion of concrete will be as per manufacturers instruction over a coat of primer and removalof rubbish to a distance exc 250m and not exc 500 m and depositing complete all as specified and as directed. 13 Material & Labour forpreparing and cleaning existing Asphaltic / Concrete surface with wirebrushes etc. and applying adequete no. of coats of road marking paint (Aqua Base) White/Golden/ Yellow/Orange / Black over main Runway area Taxi lines, holding point, etc. of width or girth exc. 100 mm complete all specified and as directed. 14 E/M SERVICES 15 Supply and fixing Single Phase horizontal openwell Submersiable pump of capacity 30 HP of head range 35-57 m ,415volt ,50HZ discharge 2200-LPM including necessary gasketsetc including taking down old unsevicable monoblock Submersiable pump of any capacity and deposited to MES store yard complete all as specified and directed. MAKE : EFLA / ATG/ADB SAFE GATE / HONEYWELL 26 M&L for Cutting of Bituminous surface / PCC surface with Kerf cutting machine of suitable size and depth for laying of secondary cable and fixing for inset light in bituminous/ PCC area of runway/ taxiway/ i.e kerfing, chiselling, cleaning and refilling the groove with suitable sealant material as required and making goodcomplete all as per specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for secondary cable (up to 10 mm width and 50 mm depth). 27 M & L for taking out dummy joints and cleaning the joints properly upto a depth of dummy joints and applyingclosed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethelene foam back up rod of 25 mm dia , priming top 12 mm with approved primer and filling with polyurethane based sealant, applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and emoving the maslking tape after filling of sealant all as per the directions of the manucfactuirer, complete all as specified and as ditected.Note :-i) Repair will be carried outthrough an authorized appilcator.ii) X seal traffic loop ( flexible polyester loop and lighting sealant) fron X-Caliber/Shaliseal company.iii) Cables are lying in the joints.If cables damaged during execution, it will be repalced on own cost basis. 28 DEDUCT TOTAL AMOUNT OF CREDIT AGAINST SCHEDULE OF CREDITBidder(s) shall/ will Quote the EQUAL AMOUNT (as per SCHEDULE OF CREDIT of Tender Documents)
