Macdemization Of Khumriyal Vawoora Km1 To 6Th.- 1 Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50mm and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1 km (by mechanical means). 2 WET MIX MACADAM Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ) to wet mix macadam (WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paver finisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 10 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 3 TACK COAT Providing & applying hot straight run bitumen of VG-10 grade including heating the bitumen,spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler , cleaning & preparing the existing road surface to remove all dirt,dust,mud etc & finally brooming the surface as per required specifications. On W.B.M. @ 0.75 Kg/sqm. 4 TACK COAT Providing & applying hot straight run bitumen of VG-10 grade including heating the bitumen,spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler , cleaning & preparing the existing road surface to remove all dirt,dust,mud etc & finally brooming the surface as per required specifications.. On bitumen surface @ 0.50 Kg/sqm 5 BITUMINOUS MACADAMP/L 50 mm thick compacted bituminous macadam base course with stone aggregate of quality size & grading as specified in MOST specifications & straight run bitumen of VG-10 grade @ 3.3 % by weight of the mix including hot mixing of stone aggrgate & bitumen in HMP ,transporting & laying mixed material with paver finisher to the required line & grade, rolling with road roller of 8 t0 10 ton capacity to achieve the required compaction & density incl cost & carriage of all materials upto the site of work complete. 6 Providing and laying Bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. 40/50 mm compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-10 @ 5.5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 3% (percentage by weight of Aggregate! prepared in Hot Mix Plant
