Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services - Fabrication Of Ms Boxes, Staircase, Structures With Painting And Segregation, Cutting, Loading, Disposal Of Radioactive Scrap At Frd, Barc, Trombay, Mumbai - 400085 Piping Erection Service Fabrication of MS boxes, staircase, structures with painting and segregation, cutting, loading, disposal of radioactive scrap at FRD, BARC, Trombay, Mumbai - 400085 1 Preparation of drawings & QAP, approval of engineer in charge, procurement of raw materials, testing of raw materials, fabrication, inspection, supply of MS Boxes as per approved detailed drawing. The material used in making of box should conform to IS: 2062 (Grade E250 min yield strength of 250 MPa). Preferred make of MS Plates and MS angles, SAIL, TATA, Jindal or equivalent reputed maker. Tolerance on Fabricated box dimensions is ± 50 mm. Contractor shall follow IS: 800 (2007) for fabrication of steel. Fabricated box should be painted two coats of YELLOW redoxide oil with standard dried film thickness. The finished painted box should have minimum 100 DFT. Conceptual drawing of the box is given in tender technical specifications for better understanding of scope of work. Complete as per scope of work & as per tender specifications. 4,800 Kg 2 Engineering detailing, Preparation of drawings & QAP, approval of engineer in charge, procurement of raw materials, testing of raw materials, fabrication, inspection, supply and installation of MS Staircase as per approved detailed drawing and as per tender technical specifications. The staircase shall be fabricated using MS pipes and MS plates. The material used shall conform to IS: 2062, Grade E250 (minimum yield strength of 250 MPa). Preferred make of MS plates and pipes: SAIL, TATA, Jindal, or other equivalent reputed manufacturers. The contractor shall follow IS: 800 (2007) for fabrication practices, including cutting, welding, and assembly. The staircase assembly shall include stringers, steps, handrails, vertical supports, and all associated components. The complete fabricated staircase shall be thoroughly cleaned and painted with one coat of primer and two coats of haze blue color, each applied to achieve the required total minimum dried film thickness (DFT) of 100 microns in total.
