Tender For Special Repair To Road At Sigar Mil Stn Under Ge 872 Ews; 1 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces exc 50 mm and not exc 100 mm in deep, area not exc400 sqm each, and removing n exc 50 metre. Stacking complete all as specified and directed. 2 M&L for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 7.5Kg per 10 Square Metre on black topsurface. complete all as specified and directed.Note: Tack coat shall be applied with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified & as directed. 3 M&L for bituminous macadam not exceeding 75 mm consolidated thickness using hot mix plant and mechanical paver with 4% binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) content by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- (i)Bitumin macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrastatic paver finisher. (ii)Preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting in tipper. 4 Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed. 5 M & L for Applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 @ 5Kg per 10 Square Metre on black topsurface.complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Tack coat shall be applied with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified & as directed. 6 M&L for semi dense bituminous asphaltic concrete 40 mm (consolidated thickness) using crushed stone aggregate premixed with binder (paving grade bitumen VG-30 grade) @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix and hydrated lime filler, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as direted by Engr-in-Charge.(Note : - (i)Bituminous premix asphaltic concrete shall be laid using self propelled hydrastatic paver.(ii)Preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting in tipper .(iii)Rolling shall be done in three stages as per clause 5.6.2 of IRC 111:2009 using 9 to 10 tonnes dead weight or vibratory steel wheel roller, pneumatic rollar of 12 to 15 tonnes and finally 6 to 8 tonnes smooth wheel rollars . 7 M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of roadand marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stoplines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cmwide on roads pavements with hot appliedthermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with specialapplicator machine all as per manufacturersinstruction complete all as specified anddirected. 8 Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) andmaking good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as spcified anddirected. 9 Supply and fix in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall(100% water proofing design according to 65) ofsize 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) ofhigh efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as permanufactures instructions etc. all as specified and directed 10 Supply and fixing in repair metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including earthwok & embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified anddirected 11 Manufacturing, supplying and fixing in repairRetro reflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 mm. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement .Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 12 S & F in repair Ultra mind convex mirror and Road safty of size 900mm dia fixed to stainless steel pole of size 75mm dia with griuting in PCC 1:2:4 in base of min. height 1.75 Mtr above GL complete all as specifed and directed.
