CERTAIN MISC PETTY REPAIRS OF DAY TO DAY COMPLAINTS TO VARIOUS ACCNS, REPAIR/ MAINT TO DAMAGED ROOF/ CHAJJA, LEAKAGE SEEPAGE TREATMENT, PLUMBING, ATTENDING DAY TO DAY COMPLAINTS OF INTERNAL SUPPLY IN MD & OTM ACCN AT AFTC, CQAE (WE) & AFS JALAHALLI; 1 Use and waste of form work fair finished surfaces to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, lintels, cantilevers etc all as specified and directed. 2 M&L for Steel reinforcement TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length and bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking end and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips incl removal of old reinforcement all as specified and directed. 3 M&L for Steel reinforcement TMT bars 6mm dia to 8mm dia cut to length and bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hoping for columns, hooking end and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips incl removal of old reinforcement all as specified and directed. 4 M&L for Reinforced Cement Concrete (Nominal Mix) 1:1½:3 Type A1 (using 20 mm gradedstone aggregate) as in Slab/beam/columns supported on walls, beams and column in floors, balconies etc complete including demolition of old reinforced cement concrete and finishing the surface with one coat of white wash all as specified and directed. 5 Repair to cracks and damaged existing surface of RCC roof slab/RCC facia/RCC chajja upto double storey (Approx height 7.50 Mtr from the natural ground level) by structural strengthing using injection pressure grouting with Sikadur 52, low viscous epoxygroutof Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex Limited, M/s STP Limited, (as approved by GE), complete all as manufacturers and all as specified and directed by GE as under:- 6 Providing and drilling 10mm dia holes using pneumatic drill as per site condition but not exceeding 50cm c/c in zig-zag patten for 75mm depth and fixing high pressure bear up Metal/Aluminium body indection packer along the holes and packing with Sika rep Micro Crete 4, rapid setting cement based plugging mortar of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex limited,M/s STP Limited, (as approved by GE) 7 Mixing base and hardner of Sikadur 52, low viscous solvent free epoxy injection grout of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals,M/s Thermex limited,M/s STP Limited, (as approved by GE)using slow speed electricity operated mixing paddle (200-300RPM) and injecting the same using electrically operated high pressure (upto 1000 Kgf/SqCM) pump until refusal to adjacent complete as per manufacturers specification. 8 Cutting and flushing the nozzoles and excess materials with a sharp scraper to take away sharp protrusions and to get a smooth and flat finish 9 Note :- The work under (item No. 5 to item No. 8 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the any following manufacturer only. M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermax Limited 10 A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified 11 The unit rate quoted is deemed to included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protectionto outside MD land Note: Periodicityof cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs. 12 M&L for Dismantling/ taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surface of RCC roof/ slab/ beams/ columns/ RCC facia for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface , scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc form the visible reinforcement by applying rust remover such as Rust Off 100 of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited, M/s ThermaxLimited( as approved by GE) and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly, complete all as per manufactures instructionand all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 13 Note for item No. 12 :-(a) Providing cement based angle fillet for 75mm X 75mm admixer with Sikacim, integralwaterproofing liquid M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, (as approved by GE) @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’sinstructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent, such as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosrox chemicals, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like rougheing the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 barpressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/ beams/ slabs/ facia/ any brick/ stone surfaces etc complete all as manufactures instructions and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 14 (b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry. 15 (c)Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make from M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Choksey Chemicals Pvt., M/s BOSTIk India pvt limited, M/s STP Limited, ( as approved by GE) over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s STP Limited, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface,complete all as specified and directed. 16 (d) Note : The work under (Item No. 12 to Item No. 15 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators from any of the following manufacturer only. including taking down and refixing complete all as specified and directed. 32 Supply and fixing in repairs 200 mm long aluminium anodized barrel tower bolt extruded section complete all as specified boreincludingbrackets, stops, rollers, etc. andfixed to wall with steel screws complete all as specified and as directed . 39 Taking down and refixing MS window shutters n. exe 1.5 sqm through cutting of existing any type of hinges, handle and tower bolt and fixing new box type hinges, MS handle and MS tower bolt the same window by necessary welding.The quoted rates shall be included the following aspect:-(a) Cutting of existing piano hinges, handle and tower bolt from window frame and shutter.(b) Fixing of removed shutter in the same frame on MS box type hinges 100mm, MS handle 100mm and MS specified and directed. 44 S&F in repair looking mirror of size 600mm x 450mm on commerical ply wood 6mm thick with PVC/ wooden moulding beading fixed to wooden plugs with chromium plated brass, screws and cup, washers, aluminium frame and fixed complete all as specified and directed. 45 M&L for Preparation of old decoratedplastered or unplastered surfaceof wall, brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent , trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat ofoil bound distemper complete all as specified and as directed. 46 Material and labourfor Preparation of old decoratedplastered or unplastered surfaceof wall, chajja,ceiling, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applyingone coat of whitewashcomplete all as specified and directed. 47 M&L for Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed. 48 M&L for Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paintover 10 cm width or girth, not other wise describedcomplete all as specified and as directed. 49 Treating the sunken floor slab comporising of the following specifications all as specified & directed:- 50 (a) Demolition of cement concrete of any description in sunken portion of toilet and removing debris outside MD land. 51 (b) Cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surfaces (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely and providing 40mm thick (avg) PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded aggregate as in padding concrete to achieve proper slope including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for provision ofspout (WPC measured and paid separately) 52 (c) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 10mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with required water proofing compound as per manufacturer instruction. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/ seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (WPC shall be measured and paid separately). 53 (d)All junctions points of side wall spout where CI/ GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty. 54 (e)After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean. 55 (f) Applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufacture instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed. 56 (g)Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound as per manufacturers specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (WPC shall be measured & paid separately). 57 (h)Material and labourfor PCC 1:5:10 type E2, using 40mm thick aggregate n exc 150mmthick as in filling of sunken floor portion complete all as specified & directed. 58 (j) Material and labourfor PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded aggregate, 50mm tnick as in floor etc complete all as specified & directed. 59 Note :- (a)Testing of water proof area (ponding test) shall be done by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage, seepage to the entire satisfaction of GE. 60 (b) Test shall be done in presence of Engineer-in-Charge. 61 (c)The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicator of chemicals. 62 (d)Cost of testing is included in the unit quoted rate above. 63 Material and labourfor Water proofing treatment to the sunken portion applying two coat of two component (1 part Polymer and second part cementations powder) cementations, polymer modified elastomeric, water proofing coating composed of cement, properly selected and graded aggregates, additive and acrylic emulsion polymer as a binder apply first coat of (mix and application as per manufacturer’s instructions) all over floor surface. Prepared surface and apply to vertical surface up to 15cm from tiling level, allow to dry 4 to 6 hours. Prepare for apply 2nd coat perpendicular to first coat and allow to dry 4 to 6 hours. All joints to Trap/WC/Soil pipe shall be properly sealed with sealing compound/polymer modified mortar using Dr Fixit Pidicrete UBP or equivalent in M/s Pidilite orM/s Sika Chemical, Slope of slab shall be towards and including GI pipe 50mm dia of suitable length Spout pipe. Providing 15mm protective screed with cement mortar in 1.3 with WPC (Make : Dr Fixit LW + or equivalent in M/s Pidilite orM/s Sika Chemical) within 2 to 3 days of second coat complete all as specified as per manufacturer instructions.
