Tender For Provision Of Solid Waste Management Plant At Leimakhong Under Ge 869 Ews; 1 Structural design and drawings for RCC framed Building with steel roof truss for solid waste management plant complete all as directed.Note: (i). The design shall confirm to latest IS: 1893, IS: 4326, IS: 13920, IS: 456, SP: 34 and other relevant IS: codes as mentioned in PS.(ii). The structure shall be designed considering the seismic Zone V.(iii). Structural analysis and design shall be done on latest version of STAAD.(iv). Structural design shall be got vetted from any IITs/NITs.(v). Contractor shall discussed the concept design with SO-I (Design) / Director (Design) of HQ Cheif Engineer Shillong Zone before finalisation of structural design.(vi). M30 grade of RCC shall be used in Building construction.(vii). Foundation shall be designed as per the SBC of the soil at the location of construction.(viii). Contractor shall execute the work as per the vetted structural drawing only after approval from Accepting Officer and various items to execute the building work shall be measured and paid under respective items of BOQ. 2 Mobilization / Transportation, errection and dismanling of all required equipment after completion of soil investigation at proposed site including deployment of personal for effective soil investigation complete all as directed. 3 Boring 150 mm dia hole at various locations up to 15 m depth as shown by Engineer-in-charge in any type of soil but excluding rock including collection of undisturbed and disturbed samples as per clause 7.2 of IS 1892 -2021 and conducting standard penetration test at an interval of 1.50 m or on change of starta. Additional SPT shall be carried out at the termination depth and conducting the following lab test:-(i) Recording of water table and taking cognigence of maximum water level during monsoon.(ii) Liquid limit and plastic limit.(iii) Sieve analysis and index properties(iv) Natural moiture content(v) Bulk density and dry density(vi) Direct and triaxial shear test(vii) Unconfined compression test(viii) Consolidation test(ix) Specefic gravity test(x) DFS test(xi) Chemical test(xii) Test for free swell index(xiii) Organic impurity test(xiv) Hydrometer AnalysisNote: Depth of bore hole to be decided based on type / depth of foundation recommended by soil consutant. 4 Submission of soil investigation report duly vetted by any IITs / NITs or Govt Engineering colleges comple all as directed.Note:(i) Following points to be included in SSI report (comprehensive, appropriate data / information may be added as per requirement:-(a) Introduction(b) Objectives of the Geo technical investigation(c) Details of the proposed structures(d) Site conditions(e) Field investigations(f) Laboratory test results(g) Soil profile(h) Allowable bearing capacity based on N values, c-ф value and permissible settlement with sample calculations. Complete calculations shall be submitted in soft copy in the same CD containing the SSI report.(j) Liquefaction analysis with calculations.(k) Foundation alternatives duly tabulated building wise. In case of pile foundation lateral capacities of pile to be calculated with minimum M-30 grade of concrete.(i) Clear recommendations duly vetted by IIT/NIT/Govt Engineering college. A table showing building name, BH No., depth and co-ordinate of the BH corrected SPT N values and the recommended SBC and clear recommendation for depth and type including any required soil improvement matching with the site plan should form part of the recommendations.(m) Annexure including bore logs, c-ф value and indicated for BHs, likelyhood of water logging at site must also be checked.(ii) If the soil / water has high (more than permissible) contents of sulphte, chlorides or any other deleterious material, the same should be brought out and appropriate recommendation be offered.
