Tender For Annual Contract For Internal Painting Of Amd Residential Quarters At Hyderabad (A) 16 Residential Flats At Begumpet (B) 106 Residential Quarters At Shyamlal (C) 56 Residential Flats At Dsa, Ameerpet; 1 General Instruction : Note-1: General Notes1.On their own interest, contractors are advised to inspect the site with prior permission before quoting their rates.2. All the samples of materials which are to be used shall be approved by the department in advance. 3. 3.The work includes leads upto 50m and lift upto 25m for all the items.4. Rates quoted shall be inclusive of all cost of materials, labour, carriage, taxes, GST, labourcess, water charges, elctricity charges, signorage charges, wastages etc..5. Rates quoted shall be excluding the amount of EPFO and ESIC contributions. EPFO and ESIC contributions are reimbursableon production of valid proof of payment made by the contractor as per CPWD norms. 2 Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge 3 Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content. 4 With ready mixed pink or grey primer on wood work (hard and soft wood) having VOC content less than 50 grams/ litre 5 With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre 6 Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. 7 Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour. 8 Oneor more coats on old work. 9 Two or more coats on old work and also over the areas under item 1. 10 Synthetic Enamel painting overnew or the existing painted surfaces of windows/doors on old work using 1st quality enamel paint ofequivalent make and shade including sand papering, removing stains, oil marks, grease, dust, dirt etc and washing if necessary complete with cost of materials, labour, tools & plants scaffolding etc all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. 11 One or more coats on old painted surfaces 12 Two or more coats on old painted surfaces or new surfaces. 13 Painting with first quality exterior emulsion paint as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali , fungal resistance& dirt resistance of approved makein two or more coats over a coat of suitable exterior primer on the existing painted areas at all heights and locations, cleaning, thorough washing, removing dirt, dust, fungus, grease, oils, loose paintings, thoroughly, sand papering etc complete withcost of material, labour, tools & plants etc., all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. 14 Finishing external walls with Acrylic smoothexteriorpaint of required shade or approved equivalent MANUFACTURED BY M/s British Paints, Berger paints M/s ICI Paintson the existing painted areas at all heights and locations, cleaning, thorough washing, removing dirt, dust, fungus, grease, oils, loose paintings, thoroughly, sand papering etc complete withcost of material, labour, tools & plants, scaffolding etc., all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. 15 One or more coats on old painted surfaces 16 Two or more coats on old painted surfaces or new surfaces. 17 Applying colour washing in two or more coats with a base coat whitining to give an even shade after finishing the surface smoothin line, level andlocations, preparing the surface by removing stains, oil marks, cob webs, etc., scraping, etc includingcost of all the materials, tools and plants, labour, scaffolding, cleaning, floors, etc all complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. 18 Varnishing with varnishusing 1st qualitymanufactured ofapproved equivalent make and shade in two or more coats glue sizing with spar varnish or an under coat over door/woode surfacesat all floors heights and locationsincluding filling up small cracks and crevices with approved filling compound, cleaning, washing, removing the dust, dirt, scales, grease, oil marks, loose painting thoroughly, sand papering wire brushing if necessary, completewith cost of materials, labour, scaffolding, tools and plants all as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. 19 Applying knifing paste filler over the new wooden / plywood surfaces at all heights and locations using 1st quality material of approved make in two or more coats including applying knife paste filler putty over the entire surface and finishing smooth, preparing the surface, sand papering, removing the dust, dirt etc all complete with cost ofmaterials, labour, scaffolding, tools and plants etc as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. 20 Cleaning and washing of all rooms, passages and balconies (except toilets and bath rooms) of vacant flat comprising of the following works including the cost of materials, tools, labour etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.a. Removal of cob webs, dusting of walls, ceiling, cupboards, lofts etc.b. Cleaning, removal of stains and washing of flooring, skirting, kitchen platform, kitchen dado, and kitchen racks, kitchen sinks etc., which are of mosaic , ceramic, marble, IPS, granite etc with suitable floor cleaners and detergents.c. Cleaning and washing of window mosquito screens, (Netlon)d. Cleaning and dusting of doors andwindows including fixtures and fittings, window grills, window pelmets etc.e. Cleaning and clearing of Nahani traps in kitchen and kitchen balcony and cleaning, removing of stains, and washing of wash basin in Hall.f. Dusting and cleaning of electrical fixtures and fittings such as switch boards, fans, tube lights etc. 21 g. Removal ofwaste papers, gunny-bags, packing materials etc and disposing of the same at Municipal approved dumping places.Note :Only floor area of the rooms and balconiesshall be measured in sqm for payment and areas of dado, skirting, platforms etc., shall not be measuredfor payment. 22 Cleaning and washing of toilets and bath rooms of vacant flats comprising of the following works including the cost of all materials, tools, labour etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge.a. Removal of cob webs, cleaning and dusting of walls, ceilings etc.b. Cleaning and washing of flooring, racks and dado which are of ceramic tiles, IPS, Mosaic, Marble etc., with approved floor cleaners and detergents and removal of all stains.c. Cleaning of sanitary ware fixtures and fittings such as IWCs, EWCs, wash basins etc with cleaning agents such as Sani fresh / Harpic or equivalent approved make and removal of stains.d. Cleaning and clearing of Nahani traps.e. Cleaning of doors, pelmets including fixtures and fittings and ventilators cleaning including removal and refixing of wire mesh after cleaning and washing; cleaning of glass louvers etc.f. Dusting and cleaning of electrical fixtures and fittings such as switch boards, exhaust fans,tube lights, etc., 23 Note: Only floor area ofthe toilet and bathrooms shall be measured for payment and areas of dado, racks etc., shall not be measured for payment. 24 Deep Cleaning of floorswith suitable carborandum sanding stone attached with machine to remove deep ingrained dirt,paint splashes ,water mark etc from the surface of floorof vacant flats comprising of the following works including the cost of all materials, tools, machine labour etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 25 Filling of the cracks of more than 1mm width at all floors and locations in internal walls using acrylic latex caulk crack filling compound /sealant manufactured by M/s Pegaus, M/s Fosroc, M/s Roffee or approved equivalent make including making ‘V’ shaped groove along the crack, clearing, removing all loose matter dirt and dust and applying /filling the crack filling compound as per manufacturers instruction/specifications and giving two coat of adjacent over the walls with the cost of scaffolding, all materials labour, curing, tools & plants etc., complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge.
