Installation Of 10 Cusec And 7 Cusec Pumping Units Allied Mechanical Works At Intake Channel Of Lis Lethpora Stage-1St. - 1 Dismantling of installed 300 mm dia. suction pipe including foot valve and suction bend (8 joints)and 300 mm dia. delivery pipe line (3 joints) by using gas cutters, specified tools and tacklesby using Backhoe Loader in place of Chain Pulley block for 1hour . The job includes dismantling of07 cusecpump coupled with 60 HP motor from its base frame and then base frame from the RCC foundation block. The job includes the dismantling of priming system also and other joints strictly as per the site. The job shall have to be carried through skilled labours to avoid any damage to the pipe line and other coupled items. All tools and plants required for carrying out above works shall be the responsibility of executing agency. 2 Carriage:Mechanical transportation, loading, unloading and handling of various items such as 07 cusec horizontal pump, 60 hp motor, 300mm dia pipes,bends, foot valve etc from pampore toLIS Lethpora Stage-1st byusing mini truck like Tata mobile as a means of transport(approx. 8kms)from site to workshop. 3 Carriage:Mechanical transportation, loading, unloading and handling of various items such as 10 cusec horizontal pump, 60 hp motor, 300mm dia pipes, 275mm dia pipe,bends, G.I pipe foot valve etc from Noorbagh D/W Station and Palpora D/W Station of Drainage Department Srinagar toLIS Lethpora Stage-1stby using mini truck like Tata mobile asa means of transport(approx. 28 kms) from the site to workshop. 4 Execution:Shifting of mechanical items within the premises of station like pipes of different lengths, pipe bends, base frame, pump, motor etc. over a 20 m lead with no vehicular access and then lowering the said items to approx. 30 ft. vertical descent upto the installation base by manually operated chain pulley block. 5 Installation of 10 cusec pumping unit coupled with 60 hp motor and fitting of 4no. suction pipe joints and delivery pipes (2 joints). The job includes providing and fitting of 5 No. 300 mm dia. rubber washers after making 8 no. holes for bolts and 20 Kgs of nuts and bolts of different sizes for making flange joint. 6 Installation of 7 cusec pumping unit coupled with 60 hp motor and fitting of flanged suction delivery pipes. The job includes the providing and fitting of 5 No. 300 mm dia. plastic washers for flanges with making of suitable no. of holes and 24 Kgs of M25 nuts and bolts. 7 Cutting of the used flanged pipe to required lengths including removal of existing flanges by gas cutting, preparation of pipe ends and refitting of the flanges on the shortened pipes through proper alignment and welding using standard electrodes. Work includes gas cutting, edge preparation, welding, grinding and leak proof testing. All tools and equipment such Oxygen and acetylene gas welding kit, safety equipment, labour and consumables such as electrodes shall be included in the job. 8 Providing and fitting of 12 mm thick 300 mm dia. 2 No. flanges. 9 Providing and filling M-oil of standard make. 10 Providing and fitting flexible TC-19Tyre/Rubber Coupling with finished bore and key way as per IS 14285. 11 Fitting 4 inch M.S channel 10-6 long ( 2 no.) horizontally for supporting the delivery pipe including proper alignment, cutting, welding, fixing on supports and necessary fabrication works. The channel shall be fixed in position as per the site requirement to ensure proper resting and support to the delivery pipe. The job includes shifting of channels from the CGI shed within the site premises to the intake channels where the channels get utilised. 12 Fabrictaion, providing and fitting of 300mm dia. 6mm thick and 300mm long tail piece on the suction sideof 10 cusec pumping unit. The job includes providing and fitting of 300mm dia. 12mm thick flanges on both sides. The job also includes providing and fitting of nuts, bolts and washer. The job includes carriage, testing, labour etc. 13 Fabrictaion, providing and fitting of 350 mm dia. 6 mm thick and 300 mm long extension piece on the suction side of 10 cusec pumping unit. The job includes providing and fitting of 300 mm dia 12mm thick flanges on both sides. The job also includes providing and fitting of nuts, bolts and washer. The job includes carriage, testing, labour etc. 14 Fabrictaion, providing and fitting of 250mm dia. 6mm thick and 300mm long tail piece on the suction side of 7 cusec pumping unit. The job includes providing and fitting of 250mm dia. 12mm thick flanges on both sides. The job also includes providing and fitting of nuts, bolts and washer. The job includes carriage, testing, labour etc.
