Tender For Repair/Maint Of Certain Roads At New Project, Tech Area And Sangam Vihar South Camp Under Ge(Af) Bamrauli; 1 Preparing of existingold black top or bituminous macadum surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etcand applyingevenly a tack coatwith bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10@ 5 Kg per ten square metrecomplete all as specified and as directed. 2 Repair to potholes any depth, not exc1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal,spreading, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) but making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings). depth of potholes exc 30 mm all as specified. 3 M&L 75 mm or less consolidated thickness premix bituminous macadamusing binder paving bitumen grade VG-30 at the rate of 4% of total mix weight by using Hot mix plant for mixing andmechanical paver for laid/rolled and compactedwith 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.Note:-Work shall be executed as perapproved design mix from NABLGovt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE.(ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government. 4 M&L Providing bituminous premixsemi denseasphaltic concrete 30 mmconsolidated thickness with minimum 5.5 % binder contentby weight of total mix, using paving bitumen VG-30 and filler of cement @2% , using hot mix plant and laidby using mechanical paver, rolled and compactedwith 8 to 10 tonne power roller to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- (i)Work shall be executed as perapproved design mix from NABLGovt approved lab /Govt Engg College as decided by GE.Cement shall be used as fillar at minimum 2% by weight of total mix. In case of variation in the mix design in the percentage of fillar content on plus side, nothing extra shall be paid on this account.(ii) Any variation in binder content during design mix at site on plus side shall be borne by the contractor without any extra cost to the Government. 5 M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like in white/yellow shade on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirmingto BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (i)Road marking work shall be carried out in accordance with manufactures instructions and as specified.(ii)ReferMORTH specification ofPara803.4.2.1 and 800.4.2.2 on bituminous surface in white colour or yellow colour and super imposed with glass beads confirming to BS 6088 and MORTH specificationPara 803.4.3.3 6 S&Fin replacement of cat eyereflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x20mmwith PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions including fixing arrangementcomplete all as specified and directed.Make:-Dark eye or Greenliteas approved. 7 S&F in replacement ofsolar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) ofsize 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/0.3 watt one Nl-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with10.000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructionscomplete all as specifed and as directed.Make:- Dark eye or Greenliteas approved. 8 S&F in replacement of metal delinator having size 1100mmlongX 100mm X 20mmmild steel rectangular (medium grade) powder coated and pasted with twin colour reflective tape strips embedded in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggrgate of size 200mmx200mmx200mm including necessary excavation and earth work on various locationshaving weight 2-3 Kgcomplete as per manufacturer complete all as specified and directed.Make:- Dark eyeor 3Mas approved. 9 S&F in replacement ofTraffic Mirror (Convex) 800mm dia, made out of ABS or Fibre or Plastic body fixed in position with mild steel post of 75mm dia with 6mm thick mild steel baseplate 100mm dia, 1.0 M high embeded in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in block of size 300mmx300mmx600 mm duly anchored in ground on variouslocation 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:6 and applyingthree coat of white wash including preparation of surface and applying two coat of syntheticenamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer to exposed surfaces of mild steel surfaces with imported outdoorPolycarbonate convex mirror of 800mm diameter with 130 degree plus actual viewing angle equipped with adjusting swivel and mounting bracket for infinite adjustment.complete all as specified and as directed.Make: Dark eye cat part No CM/04(1) or equivalent as approved 10 S&F in repairs rumble strips made up of ABS plastic PU material rubber and black and yellow colour of size 500mmx375mm X50mm anti resistance moisture and temperature including fixingusing achor bolts and epxoy mortar grout complete all as specified and as directed.Make: Dark eye cat part No DA-1008 or equivalentin 3M as approved 11 Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadum surfaces in area not exceeing 400 Sqm, exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed. 12 M&L 7.5cm compacted thickness WBMwith coarse aggregate (granite, trap or basalt) of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm), spread rolledand compacterd with 8 to 10 tonne power roller to achieve gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed. 13 Preparing of unsurfaced WBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etcand applyingevenly a tack coatwith bituminous primer using paving bitumen of grade VG-10@ 10 Kg per ten square metrecomplete all as specified and as directed. 14 Demolition of cement concrete ( un-reinforced)in ground floor and paving not exceeding 15 cm thick below or above ground level complete all as specified and as directed. 15 M&Lbrokenstonehardcore of gauge not exceeding 63 mm deposited , spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick complete all as specified and as directedd. 16 M&L 75 mm thick cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm grade stone aggregateas insub base completeall as specified and as directed. 17 M&L 60 mm thick , M-35 grade machine pressedpre-cast interlocking paver block any shape and sizeconforming to IS 15658-2006with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and as directed. 18 M&L 25 mm thick sand filling under floor or in foundation including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.. 19 M&Lcement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm grade stone aggregateas in benching to sides of interlocking tiles including slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating completeall as specified and as directed
