Tender For Repair/Resurfacing Of Road Under Age B/R-Ii Of Ge [Nb], Visakhapatnam.; 1 M & L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces of area not exceeding 400 Sq.m and exceeding 50 mm and not exceeding 100 mm depth including include raking over and grading the broken up surfaces to the proper camber etc.and removing the debris to a distance not exceeding 50 m and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen of Grade VG – 10 complete all as specified. 2 Demolition of Bituminous Speed Breakers including removal of debris from the Defence land complete all as specified and as directed. 3 M & L for Premixed Bituminous Macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber [consolidate thickness 75mm or less] using paving bitumen of Grade VG - 30 as binder with 4% by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. 4 M & L for Preparing existing Black Top Surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 KG per 10 Sq.m of paving bitumen and laying Bituminous Premixed Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 30 mm consolidated thickness, using paving bitumen of Grade VG – 30, with 5.5% of binder content by weight of total mix using Hot Mix Plant and Mechanical Paver, rolled and compacted with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity to required camber and gradient complete all as specified.Note: Minimum Bitumen content shall be 5.5% as specified here in above. Please note that if the actual quantity of bitumen to be incorporated on approval of Mix–Design is found more than the minimum bitumen content specified above, No price adjustment shall be made for actual bitumen content of Mix–Design. Bitumen shall be Paving Bitumen of Grade VG–30 and shall be procured by the contractor. 5 M & L for repairs to Pot Holes exceeding 30 mm depth and not exceeding 1.00 Sq.m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sq.m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, rolled and consolidated with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq.m, blinded with 0.09 cu.m of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again rolled and consolidated with power road roller of 8 to 12 ton capacity including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings complete all as specified and as directed. 6 M & L for Road Marking Strips, Lines, Dashes, Arrows, Letters etc of 2.5 mm thick [Reflective Type] of colour White or Golden Yellow on roads, pavements and the like exceeding 10cm wide with Hot Thermo Plast material by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface complete as per MOSRT & H specifications including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and as directed. 7 S & F in repairs Road Side Delineator [Reflector] as per approved model and conforming to IRC - 67, made of highly flexible material [restores back to their erect posture even after being hit by a speeding vehicle without damaging them], fitted with 100mm PMMA reflector, which emit excellent reflection during night time, overall height of the reflector shall be of 1300mm with 3 reflective strips of colour Amber, Red or White, as approved by GE with 200mm dia base, 75mm dia pole, fixed with Bolts, Nuts and Epoxy Glue complete all as specified and as directed. 11 S & F in repairs Road Side Delineator [Reflector] as per approved model and conforming to IRC - 67 of size 500 X 365 mm, 50 mm high the material shall be Black/Yellow coloured and UV stabilised to keep perpetually colorful, Studded with reflectors on either side for clear visibility during night hours, fixed with nails supplied with the Bumps, grouting the holes with appropriate epoxy adhesive on the road surface and Bumps complete all as specified and as directed. 14 S & F in repairs Poly Carbonate Convex Mirror outdoor type 800mm dia made out of fibre along with bracket, Pole mounted and fixed to 80mm bore Medium Grade MS Pipe of required length complete and embedded in PCC 1:3:6, Type C1, including necessary earth work required for post holes complete all as specified. 15 S & F in repairs Median Marker / Guard Rail Reflectors and conforming to IRC - 67 with metal base of size 114 X 117 mm with highly reflective reflectors made of PMMA Material with ABS Round Body fixed with Bolts, Nuts and Epoxy Glue on the side of crash barrier for perfectly delineating the road direction for night driving complete all as specified and as directed. 16 S & F retro reflective Cautionary /warning sign boards of equilateral triangular shape having each sideof 900 mm with support length of 3750 mm and made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet,face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - IV of ASTM-D 4956-01 in blue and silver white or other colour combination including subject matter, message (bi-lingual), symbols and borders etc. as per IRC; 67:2001, pasted on substrate by an adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying heat and pressure conforming to class -2 of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same with suitable sized aluminium alloy rivets @ 20 cm c/c to back support frame of M.S. angle iron of size 25x25x3 mm along with theft resistant measures, mounted and fixed with 2 Nos.
