| 2 | Chipping off all loose mortar, concrete, plaster using suitable tools from ceiling , cleaning the substrate with wire brush then providing & applying one coat of Rearm Rust R or equivalentover exposed corroded reinforcement and allow for 15-30 minutes or as per manufacturer instructions, then wash with sufficient quantity of water to make the reinforcement free from rust, then applying two coats of FloArm Coat ZP a zinc rich epoxy primer or equivalent to protect reinforcemnt from further rusting allow it to dry as per manufacturer instructions then applying 10mm thick ReArm crete RM-HS a polymer modified repairing mortar for providing cover to reinforcement, having compressive strength not less then 55mpa @28 days over a bond coat with ReArm Bond EBA epoxy bonding agent having minimum 50mpa compressive strength @ 07 days, tensile & shear strength should be minimum 18mpa and 10mpa @ 14 days respectively. The maufacturer of chemical must be an ISO 9001 & 14001 certified. Work must be carried out by authorised applicator of maufacturer only. Working & adjacent area must be covered by suitable arrangements so that machines installed in section may be protected. (Chemical manufacturer:- Myk Arment, Sika or equivalent). Firm must provide Quality assurance certificate of material from manufacturer before use in work. |
