Tender For Repairs To Certain Roads And Hardstanding To Otm And Md Accn Of Og Lines In The Aor Of Age B/R Haig Line Deolali; 1 M & L Repair to pot holos of any depth not exceeding 1 Sqm eacheach including sweeping free from dust and mud over water scoring sunken surfaces in road, path etc. Cutting around edges to at list 25 mm in depth making good by filling in screened & graded road metal,watering and well rammingcomplete allas spd and directed. 2 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area exc 400 sqm, exc 50mm and n exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed. 3 M&L for 75 mm thick (compated thickness) water bound macadam ( WMM ) oflime stone, sand stone, flint or Quartzite of coarse agggrading 2 ( 63 to 40 mm size ) spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with power roller using 8 to 10tonnecomplete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. 4 M&L preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally clearing the surfaces with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade SS1 type (packed bitumen emulsion) conforming to IS:8887-1978 at a rate of application of 8.5kg/10sqm on bituminous surface as specified in MoRTH Fifth revision specification for road and bridge works, using mechanical sprayer/means complete all as specified and as directed. 5 M&L preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally clearing the surfaces with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade RS1 type (packed bitumen emulsion) conforming to IS:8887-1978 at a rate of application of 2.5kg/10sqm on bituminous surface as specified in MoRTH Fifth revision specification for road and bridge works, using mechanical sprayer/means complete all as specified and as directed. 6 M&L for premixed bituminous macadam laid using mechanical paver for any width of road, rolled & compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with binder content (paving VG - 30 grade bitumen) of min. 4% by weight of total mix incl rolling and consolidating with power roller all as specified & directed. 7 M&L for applying evenly tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion of approved grade RS1 type (packed bitumen emulsion) conforming to IS:8887-1978 at a rate of application of 2.5kg/10sqm on bituminous surface as specified in MoRTH Fifth revision specification for road and bridge works, using mechanical sprayer/means complete all as specified and as directed. 8 M&L forpremixedbituminous semi-dense asphaltic concrete 30mm consolidated thickeness laid using mechanical paver for any width of road with max 5.0% binder content, paving butimen VG-30 grade byweight oftotal mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all specified & directed. 9 M&L for painting line, dashes, arrow, letters etc. on road pavement (parking etc.) providing & applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips with glass beads (reflective) of specified shade /colour using hot thermoplastic material fully / semi-automatic application machine fitted with profile shoe heater driven by experienced operator on road surfaces including preparation of previously treated surfaces , cleaning surfaces of all dirt, scales, oils, grease & foreign materials etc. complete all as specified and directed. 10 Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and directed. 11 M&L for pavement quality concrete (PQC) of flexural strength 40 Kg/sqcm in field using minimum 400 Kg of cement per cum as per design mix including formwork laying in alternate bays over 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin Quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/Sqm average laid over 10mm thick sand cusioningcomplete all as specified and as directed. 12 Finishing top concrete pavement with wire brush broomingwhile concrete is green complete all as specified and as directed. 13 M&L forming 20 mm thick expansion joints filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade ‘B’ for 200mm thick concrete slab 14 M&L forming dummy joints 65mmx10mm wide filled withsealing compoundGrade B using mechanical means complete all as specifide and directed.
