| 3 | Notes for item Nos 1.00 to 2.00: (a) Maintenance/ repair work shall be carried out as per maintenace schedule through trained service engineer from OEM (Thyssenkrupp Elevator Pvt Ltd)/ authorised service partner(s) of the OEM.(b)The lowest bidder shall sign an MoU with the OEM for carrying out the maintenance/ repair work and shall submit the original copy of the same to GE (Army) Trivandrum. MoU so submitted shall be valid for entire period of contract. Proforma for MoU is attached as Appendix \"A\" to Particular Specifications.(c) The contactor shall carry out the maintenance service of the lift every month.(d)Makes of the spare parts shall be of same make as used by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).(e)Repair/ replacement of any components rendered unserviceable due to wear and tear, such as inverter system, controller parts, printed circuit boards, belts, rollers, gears, bearing, gear oil, solenoid coils, shaft lights, chokes, break shoes liners, contactor relay coils, push button, door locks, cabin light,minor repair of lift motor, indicators and other minor mechanical parts except major parts like, landing and car doors,ARD battery bank, repair to lift motor, rewinding of cabin fan,lift cabin, guide rails, ropes, counterweights travelling cables,etc shall be deemed to be included in the comprehensive maintenance rate and no extra payment shall be made on this account. |
| 4 | (f)Unserviceable components/materials removed should be deposited at MES store yard. The technician should report to AGE E/M office daily morning at 9 am where a register will be maintained. The contractor should attend the rescue/failure calls immediately and should start the work within 30 minutes otherwise a penalty of Rs. 1000/- for each late hour shall be recovered from contractor\"s dues.(g) The maintenance service report shall be submitted to the Engr-in-Charge every month duly signed by the technician and supervisor immediately after completion of maintenance/ services of lift.(h) Any other checks, maintenance and repair as required for the smooth operation of lift shall also be carried out by the contractor. (j) Bidders shall visit the site of work and make themselves aware of site conditions, condition of work, OEM of the lift and other relevant aspects before quoting the tender. |
