Bids Are Invited For Custom Bid For Services - Washing Service For Buses Repair, Maintenance, and Installation of Plant/ Systems/Equipments (Version 2) The work will include washing of Buses, cleaning of exterior and interior and deep cleaning of Buses. • The cleaning activity shall be performed at ASTC premises at Central Workshop, ASTC Rupnagar, Guwahati. • Daily Cleaning: A. Interior: Daily cleaning of interior will include interior floor sweeping, dusting of interiors, trash removal, cleaning of dashboard, passenger seats, cleaning of windows with glass cleaner, door cleaning, cleaning of handrails etc. B. Exterior: Bus body washing with cleaning agent/shampoo, removal of stains, cleaning of wheels, removal of dirt/mud. Cleaning of windows with glass cleaner. • The exterior as well as interior of the Bus shall be polished with suitable polishing compound/wax on areas where polishing is applicable such as dashboard, exterior body etc. • Deep Cleaning: Deep cleaning to be performed twice in a month on every Bus. The work shall include full interior cleaning with suitable cleaning agent, cleaning of seats with vacuum cleaner, removal of stains from seat, floor scrubbing/mopping, cleaning of handrails, polishing of interior and exterior. • The Buses shall be parked at ASTC Central Workshop Rupnagar, Guwahati. The Buses shall start entering ASTC premises from 06:00 PM onwards. Cleaning activity shall be be performed after 06:00 PM till the completion of all Buses or till morning. The Bidder shall complete the washing/cleaning before the Bus departs in the morning. • Materials to be supplied by Bidder: Manpower, mild detergent/cleaning agent/shampoo, vacuum cleaner, garbage bags, ladder, pressure jets and any other material required for cleaning. • ASTC shall provide space for cleaning, water, electricity. • ASTC will provide water pump, motor, hose pipe and pressure gun. In case of damage/defect in water pump, motor, hose pipe and pressure gun, the bidder shall either rectify the defect or purchase a new item. The relevant Bills may be submitted to ASTC for release of payment along with monthly bill. • Bidder shall maintain a register. The register should contain the vehicle number on which cleaning has been done on daily basis. The register will be certified by technical in charge of Central Workshop, Rupnagar. • Total number of Buses-56 nos. Quantity of Buses may increase. • Payment Terms: Payment shall be done on monthly basis. Bidder shall raise Tax Invoice at the end of every month. The Tax Invoice shall be certified by the technical in charge of Central Workshop, ASTC Rupnagar. The certified Tax Invoice along with List of vehicles cleaned in the month shall be submitted to ASTC HO for release of payment. Payment shall be released subject to all statutory deductions (if any). • During contract period if the quantity of Buses increases, the bidder has to perform the cleaning operation on per bus per month rate as quoted in this tender and same terms and condition as per this tender. • An agreement shall be signed between ASTC and the Bidder.
