| 3 | Providing supplying and making suitable stack of good quality UV stabilized HDPE (High density polyethylene) bags having suitable internal dimension (to accommodate river sand not less that 50 Kg& subsequent filling the same with local available river sand weighing (gross wt.) not less than 50 Kg per bag,closing the bag by stitching with stitch density of 4-5 stitches per inch with PPMFY (Polypropylene multifilament yarn) or equivalent approved sewing thread as per specification, including all labours materials & as directed by the Engineer-In-charge. Specification of HDPE bag:-The raw material should be UV stabilized high density polyethylene (HDPE). The fabric used in manufacturing sacks shall be woven as a tube on circular loom from HDPE tapes having of 2.5mm. The fabric should be tightly woven having crushed tapes.The stiching at bottom should be made with tWO rows of chain stitch separated by at least 4mm.The outer stich should be at minimum 7mm apart from outer edge of the sack. The stitching shall be done with single or double fold over seam to a depth of minimum of 25mm, so that the stitches pass through a minimum of four layers of fabric. The material used for stitching shall be HDPE or PP tape and stiching should be uniform without any loose thread or Knot. The completely open mouth of the sack shall be hemmed with a fold of minimum 5mm and tape shall not fray. | 5 | Supplying and laying PP multifilament woven geo textile filter having a pillow of dia 600 mm (where necessary) with havingpocket for filling sand all through the river front end as per specificationandas per site condition having side lapping of min. 250 mm and end lapping of min 250 mm and as directed on the slope of the bank of the river or on the slope of the embankment or in the river bed with all leads.The rate is inclusive of Cutting Geo-textile fabric in proper shape and size as per drawing and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge including cost of necessary plants and equipmentsas per requirement.The cost of excavation of the trenches, additional fabric for making pillow and sand will be paid separately.(Payment will be made on finished area of laying Geo textile filter).Specification for Geotextile filtera) Mass per unit area-240 gm / Sqm.
