Repair And Maintenance Of Infrastructure Assets In R Iii Division During 2025 26 Sh Providing And Fixing Of Road Safety Apparatus And Repair Work At Safdarjung U Turn Under R Iii Division- 1 Providing and fixing of Flexible Median Markers as per IRC 79:2019 which shall be of tough, high impact resistant, injection-molded, thermoplastic body with property of flexibility to provide high durability and U shape structure having rebound/bounce back property. Flexible Median Markers shall be provided with fluorescent yellow colour retro reflective sheeting Type XI as per IRC:67. The reflective sheeting should confirm to Type XI Florescent Yellow sheeting as per IRC: 67 and ASTM D4956. The flexible median marker shall have overall height of minimum 180 mm, width of minimum 120 mm, body thickness of minimum 6.5mm and shank length shall not be less than 20mm and depth shall not be less than 30mm. The Reflective Area Shall not be less than 90 cm square. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be on both faces of the Flexible Median Marker and shall be edge protected with no exposed edges which will prevent edge lifting, vandalism, sheeting damage, etc. The edge of sheeting should not come out easily by putting nails, sharp objects etc. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed on either side of the body. The flexible median marker shall be tested for reboundability and tensile test from government laboratory (CRRI/ARAI/ICAT/CPRI) as per requirement of IRC 79-2019. 2 Providing and fixing of Water-filled Traffic Impact Attenuator (Drums) should be made out of HDPE / LLDPE material in bright orange colour or any other colour required by Department. Traffic Barrels (Drums) should have total Height of 1000mm Approx. Upper Dia of Traffic Barrels (Drums) should be 400mm Approx. and Bottom dia should be 600mm Approx. Weight of the Traffic Attenuator should be over 6 Kgs. Approx. Water filling capacity of the Traffic Barrels (Drums) should be 190Ltrs. 4 Bands of Highly Reflective Micro Prismatic Tape of 3” width should be pasted on the Traffic Barrels (Drums) for better night time visibility. Name of the Department should be written on Traffic Barrels (Drums) with Retro Reflective Tape. 3 Providing and fixing of Flexible Urban Delineator wherein post and base shall be made from Poly-urethane. The post shall be semi flat and semi-circular in construction. The flat surface of the post shall be used for branding/displaying department name/logo. The product shall be made of PU (Poly-urethane). Which helps in returning the post to its original position without damaging the product or vehicle. The retro reflective tape applied on the post shall be as per ASTM D 4956 and shall be of pattern less reboundable. The message area for printing shall be 100 x 400 mm. The height of the post shall be 750 mm, the width of the post shall be 120 mm. the weight of the flexible urban delineator not less than 1500 grams. The flexible urban delineator shall be applied in gaps in median, traffic islands, dangerous bends, roundabouts etc as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge 4 Providing and fixing Solar Raised Pavement markers made out of polycarbonate molded body with circular share, solar powered, LED self- illumination in active mode, 360-degree illumination and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face in passive mode. The marker shall support a load of 20,000 kg(minimum) tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280. The marker should be resistant to dust and water ingress according to IP 65 standards and should withstand temperatures in the range of 0 C to 70 C. Typical frequency of blinking is 1 Hz. There should be current losses of less than 20 micro amperes at 2.4V in sleep charging mode to enhance the life of the marker and a full charge should provide for a minimum autonomy of 50 hours. The height, width and length shall not be less than 10 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm. Also, the surface diameter of the marker shall not be less than 100 mm respectively. The weight of the marker shall not exceed 0.5 kilograms. Fixing will be done by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive and complete as directed by the engineer. The solar shall be tested for Compression strength of 20000 Kg, IP 65 rating, Blinking frequency from government lab (CRRI/ARAI/ICAT/CPRI or certificate for compression strength test as decided by Engineer-In Charge). The work shall be complete as per direction and entire satisfaction of Engineer-In- Charge. 5 Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro- reflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications. 6 Providing and fixing Glow studs of size 100x20 mm made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite ) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro- prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer in charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D4280. The slope of retro- reflective surface shall be 35 (+/- 5) degress to base .The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS: 873 part 4 : 1973. The studs shall be fixed to the Road surface using the adhesive conforming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 7 Providing and fixing of Standard Metal Delineator as per IRC 79-2019 made of Mild steel with pure polyester powder coating with the minimum thickness of powder coating of not less than 40 micron for protection against corrosion. The surface should be concealed so that there should not be any exposed surface without powder coating. The Delineator posts shall have an ellipsoidal design where the height shall be 800 to 900 mm above the ground with about 200 to 300 mm base which can be anchored onto the ground. Mild steel Guide Delineator Poles shall conform to Type XI sheeting specifications as per IRC:67 and must be complying to Claue 6.7. The Delineator posts should have 3 alternate band of black colour paint and white retro reflective sheeting of Type XI as per IRC:67 and ASTM D-4956 on both the sides of minimum length 150mm and as per Clause 3.1 Figure 1 in IRC 79-2019. The Delineator shall be tested for dimensions, powder coating thickness and coefficient of Retroreflection for Type XI sheeting from government laboratory CRRI/ARAI/ICAT/CPRI) as per requirement of IRC 79-2019. 8 Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.14.1.2 With cement mortar 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand) 9 Providing and applying plaster of paris putty of 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. 10 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade : 13.62.1 Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitableshade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture 11 Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :13.99.1 One or more coats on old work
