    Tender For Fabrication Of Green House Gas Collection Chambers To Dept. Of Environmental Sciences (Ens), The Directorate Of Natural Resource Management (Dnrm), Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (Tnau), Coimbatore-641 003 Fabrication of Green House Gas collection chambers 150 nos. Within 01 months from the date of issue of supply order 1. Closed Chambers: Each chamber set shall consist of two sections made of transparent acrylic sheets (3 mm thickness), assembled as follows: • Bottom Chamber Dimensions: 50 cm × 50 cm × 60 cm • Top Chamber Dimensions: 50 cm × 50 cm × 60 cm • Total Height per Chamber Set: 120 cm • Total capacity: 300 liters • Jointing System Between Chambers: o The top and bottom chambers must be securely joined using two 0.8 mm MS plates, precisely laser-cut and joined using TIG welding. o The joint of the two MS plates must be sealed with silica gel and finished with powder-coated paint to ensure no gas leakage from inside to outside or vice versa. o The inside of the MS plates should be constructed with a foam material that ensures a tight fit within the chambers, preventing any air leakage. o Rubber beading should be provided for both chambers—on the bottom side of the top chamber and the top side of the bottom chamber—to ensure proper seating with the joining material. • Gas Collection Provisions on Top Chamber: o Each top chamber must include two silicone injection ports, positioned centrally on opposite sides of the chamber, to allow for efficient gas sampling. o The injection port should include a brass holder and a silicone septum (2 mm) capable of withstanding at least 100
