Tender For Repair/Replacement/Improvement Of Ht Distribution System And Power Supply Equipments At Devkatiya And Pithoragarh Under Ge Mes Pithoragarh.; 1 Taking down XLPE cable 11KV of size 120 Sqmm 3 core for reuse serviceable XLPE cable 11 KVafter meggaring from existing position or another position fromunderground trenches/under road/under path or from poles complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.Note :-Excavation, earthwork, and Relaying serviceable XLPE 11 KV cableshall be measured and paid for separately under respective item of this schedule. 2 All as per ser item No. 1.00 here-in-before but for HT cable size of 95 Sqmm 3 core. 11 KV complete all as specified and as directed. 3 Relaying only in situ or in other new place of serviceable XLPE 11 KV cable of sizes asretrieved from Serial item No 1.00& 2.00 aboveafter meggaring complete all as specified and as directed.Note: Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning, bricks /cable cover etcshall be measured separately under respective item of Sch. 4 Excavation in trenches in any type of soil by not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr depth below ground level for trenches of cable and foundation of poles and getting out complete all as specified. 5 Excavation in trenches for each additional 1.5m or part there of in depth beyond the first 1.5 mindepth and 1.5 mtr wide and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified. 6 Returning, filling in, any type of soil and spreading in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer including watering & well ramming complete all as specified. 7 Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified. 8 Supply and laying of un reinforced pre cast concrete cable protection cover class HVP type - 1 flat with size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm laid across the cable (i.e width of cover along the length of cable) for cable protection. 9 All as per ser item No 8.00 here-in-before but using old cable cover obtained by taking out under respective items above. 10 Material and labour for sand cushioning with layer of sand 8cm thick before laying of cable and 15cm after laying of cable in trenches complete all as specified and directed and sand cover to underground cable complete all as specified.Note: Punned thickness of sand will be measured only. 11 Supply and fixing / laying of galvanized iron pipe of 80 mm nominal dia light grade fixed to poles with clamps nuts, bolts and washers or laid under road crossing or fixed to wallcomplete all as specified and directed. Note : The cost of MS clamp, nut, bolt, washer and GI fittings etc shall be inclusive in the item rate. 12 M& L for cutting of floor/wall/road/footpath for removal of HT U/G cable of any size/description and making good the same as per existing specification after relaying the same or new cable and all as specified & directed. 13 Material and labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2,using stone aggregate 40mm graded as in foundation of stays and coping of polesincluding necessary form work where required and fair finish to the exposed surfacesall as specified & directed. 14 Material and labour for PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using stone aggregate 40mm graded as in foundation for electric poles and making of cable duct including necessary form work where required and fair finish to the exposed surfaces complete all as specified & directed. 15 Supply and laying of HT underground cable XLPE insulated, screened with extruded semiconducting compound in combination with copper tape (0.3 KA for 1 sec) cores laid up, inner PVC sheathed, galvanized steel strip armoured, overall PVC sheathed electric powercable with stranded compact aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade 120 sq mm 3 core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-II) with latest amendments, suitable for earthed system laid in duct/trench/along pole etc including making connection complete all as specified & directed.Note : 1. The end termination joint shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.2. Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick protection will be measured and paid separately under respective items. 16 All as per srl item No. 15.00 here-in-before but for cable size of 95 Sqmm 3 core. 17 Supply, jointing and testing in replacement of outdoor type cable end termination joint,heat shrinkable) suitable for aluminium conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm x 3 Core, 11000 Volts grade complete all as specified & directed. 18 All as per srl item No. 17.00 here-in-before but for cable size of 95 Sqmm 3 core, 11000 Volts grade. 19 Supply jointing and testingin replacement of indoor type cable end termination joint (heat shrinkable) suitable for aluminium conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm x 3 Core, 11000 Volts grade complete all as specified & directed. 20 All as per srl item No. 19.00 here-in-before but for cable size of 95 Sqmm 3 core 11000 Volts grade. 21 Supply jointing and testingin replacement of straight through joint (heat shrinkable) suitable for aluminium conductor cable of size 120 Sqmm x 3 Core, 11000 Volts grade complete all as specified & directed. 22 All as per srl item No. 21.00 here-in-before but for cable size of 95 Sqmm 3 core,11000 Volts grade. 23 Supply and erection (in truly vertical position) in replacement of HT Steel tubular swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate finial taper plug, bolt , nut and screwed type 410 SP 55, 11 MtrslongClass -10 including painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint in red and white strips upto 1.5 mtr height from coping over a coat of red oxide primer including numbering of poles complete all as specified & directed.Note : PCC, Earth work and MS work as cross arms clamps etc will be measured and paid separately. 24 M & L for Unbinding from insulators and Restringing/Restretching ACSR conductor of any size on HT poles including binding with 2mm dia aluminium binding wire complete all as specified & directed.Note :Cost of binding wire shall be included in the rate. 25 M & L fo unbinding and Restringing/Restretching of GI earth wire 04mm dia on HT poles and including wire with 1.63mm dia GI binding wire complete all as specified & directed.Note :Cost of binding wire shall be included in the rate. 26 M & L for Supply & fixing in replacement ACSR conductor of any size including binding on existing HT poles or new poles with 02mm dia aluminium binding wire complete all as specified & directed. 27 M & L for Supplying, drawing and fixing in replacement of continuous GI earth wire/gaurd/cradles of 4mm dia including GI binding wire 1.63 mm and GI holding hook on HT poles incl taking down old rusted GI wire complete all as specified & directed. 28 Supply, fabricating and fixing in replacement of cross arms (any type) supports, bracing, stiffness etc made out of MS channel, angle iron , flat iron , GI sheet of any size including drilling of holes, making clamps, eye hooks, nuts, bolts and washers etc, welding if required including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide paint complete all as specified & directed. 29 Material and Labour in repair anti-climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of MS bars (round/square and flat including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in to halves made to shape to suit the cross sections of the pole complete all as specified & directed. 30 Material and Labour in replacement, for HT lightening arrester metal oxide type (gap less) for out door use complete with all fittings and fixing arrangements transmission class discharge capacity 65 kilo amps suitable for 11000 volts including brackets, clamps, nuts, bolts ,washers and connecting to earth wire 4mm dia GI complete all as specified and directed with manufacturers test certificate complete all as specified & directed. 31 Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of single HT11 KV steel tubular pole complete and painting with one coat of aluminium paint including channels/ brackets, cross arms and making red & white strips with synthetic enamelled paint of 30 cm height, eachalternative strip upto 1.5 mtr height and writing pole numbers with black synthetic enamelled paint after making circular basewith yellow synthetic enamelled paint and applying white wash on existing PCC coping complete all as specified. 32 Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of 1 KV HT Four pole structure complete and painting with one coat of aluminium paint including channels, cross arms and making red & white strips with synthetic enamelled paint of 30cm height, eachalternative strip upto 1.5 mtr height andwriting pole numbers with black synthetic enamelled paint after making circular basewith yellow synthetic enamelled paint and applying white wash on existing PCC coping complete all as specified. 33 All as per srl item No. 32 here-in-before but for 11 KV HT Two Pole structure complete all as specified. 34 M & L for servicing & repair existing Gang Operated Device including replacing the defective parts and applying mineral Jelly, oil, grease after proper removal of carbon deposits, refixing of Switch A/B Gang operated for triple pole mechanically operated mounted on isolator and steel frame with operating mechanism works from Ground level, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Rate ofminor new spare Parts is including in this job. 35 M & L for repair existing servicing ofdrop out fuseincluding replacing the defective parts and applying mineral Jelly, oil, grease after proper removal of carbon deposits, refixing the same after repair, complete all as specified and as directed. Other Major spares are paid separately under following relevant items 36 Supply of Male/Female contacts supports assembly of Air break Switch complete all as specified and as directed 37 Supply of11 KV HT Insulators of Air break GOD Switch complete all as specified and as directed 38 M & L for in replacement of existing worn outjumper structure with new aluminium jumper (any type of conductor) (not less than 2 mtr) with new aluminium lugs & clamp including bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and as directed. 39 Maintenance of 2/4 pole structure by disconnecting all incoming and out going over head conductor jumper joint and UG cable end terminal joint from GOD etc and rewinding/renewal of all joint with fresh joint, inserting PVC coloured sleaves over conductor including treatment of GOD contacts and ACSR conductor with conducting jelly complete all as specified and as directed. 40 Supply and fixing in replacement of Air break gang operated triple pole mechanically operated mounted on HT insulators (12 Nos) and galvanised steel frame with operating rod of 25 mm bore medium grade GI pipe suitable for operation while standing on ground for current rating200 Amps suitable for 11000 volt, 50 HZ supply incl 12 insulator and drop out fuse carrier element complete all as specified and as directed. 41 Supply and fixing in replacement of danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick, MS sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figuers and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps made out offlat iron 25x3 mm, nuts-bolts, of approved size for HT 25 x 20 cm and all as directed. 42 M&L for disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous in single disc assy for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts of size 145 mm high and 255 mm dia ball complete all as specified and as directed. 43 S&F insulators pin type porcelain vitreous white brown or green including one galvanised MS spindle, two GI washer & one GI nut 150 mm height,150 mm dia for 11 KV grade complete all as specified and directed. 44 Supply and Fix HT insulation tapes ISI Marked for terminating high voltage cables for insulation sealing of connection of wire and cable for bus bar insulation, transformer terminal insulation etc complete all as specified and as directed. 45 Supply and Fix in replacement of Fuse wire for HT line from rating 5 Amp to 100 Amp complete all as specified and directed. 46 M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel,earth plate electrode 600x600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically(earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs belowground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level connected to galvanised strip 32x6mm as earth leadby means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron/steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 on page 497 of MES schedule 2009 part - I connected to main switch board/main DBs/earthing test point including all necessary excavation and earth work in hard/dense soil common salt and charcoal dust mixed and packed 150mm thick all round the GI earth plate, watering pipe 20mm dia GI medium grade. GI sheet 0.63 mm thick funnel, wire gauge, 50mm thick RCC cover in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 duly reinforced with MS round bars 6mm dia @ 150c/c both ways and pit/chamber in PCC 1:3:6 type C1 with suitable lifting handleto cover, GI protection pipe 40mm dia light grade up to 7.5mtr from electrode GI pipe to be fixed with complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Earth lead beyond 7.5 mtr from electrode to earth terminal point/main switch & GI pipe light grade 40mm dia for protection against mechanical damage to lead shall be measured separately. (ii) On testing after completion if desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost. 48 Supply and fixing/laying of galvanized iron strip of size 32x6 mm as earth continuity conductor provided in between earth test point terminal and upto the equipment incl nuts, bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed. 49 M & L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders gauge of 40mm to 63 mm , deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc.15cm thick around HT fourpole/two pole structure and transformer area complete all as specified 50 Repair to earth pit & earth pit cover of any type and size by using PCC 1:2:4 and plastering in CM 1:3 complete including excavation, returning filling and removal etc complete all as specified and directed. 51 Supply and fixing of Cable route markers made of galvanised iron with embossing of HT Cable , supporting MS angle of 75 cm long, for HT cable 11 KV route marking duly embedded in and incl PCC (1:3:6) foundation up to 30 cm incl excavation and earth work. 52 Clearing away all grass vegetation ,saplings, shrubs, brush wood undergrowth roots and trees not exceeding 30 CM girth (measured one metre above ground level) and removing rubbish upto a distance of 50 metres outside the periphery of the area under clearancesoft/loose soiland getting out including sprinkling anti vegetation chemical for complete area with spray machinecomplete all as specified & directed. Note1. Necessary shut down of electric supply must be taken before start of work and restore the supply after proper clearance from the men at work. 53 Cutting/ trimming of tree branches up to 1.5 mtr distance on both sides of HT over head line and hanging over HT over head line including collection and depositing the retrieved timberat a place as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- 1. Distance between two poles consider as one span.2. The contractor must ensure that there must be no damage to HT conductor/pole because of falling of tree branches. If any damage occur due to this, the repair will be done by the contractor at his own and no extra payment will be paid to contractor in this effect. 3. Necessary shut down of electric supply must be taken before start of work and restore the supply after proper clearance from the men at work. 54 Supply and laying of HT underground cable XLPE insulated, screened with extruded semiconducting compound in combination with copper tape (0.3 KA for 1 sec) cores laid up, inner PVC sheathed, galvanized steel strip armoured, overall PVC sheathed electric power cable with stranded compact aluminium conductor 33000 volts grade 300sq mm 3 core confirming to IS:7098 (Part-II) with latest amendments, suitable for earthed system laid in duct/ trench/ along pole etc including making connection.
