The Panel Should be as per the IEC61439 -1,2 design verified Totally Type tested Panels. The Panels should be cubicle type indoor mounting, fully compartmentalised with hinged lockable detachable front & back openable, dust and vermin proof, floor mounting sheet steel clad switchboard fabricated out of 2 mm thick CRCA powder coated sheet steel suitable for use at 415 volts 3 phase 4 wire 50 cycle system and to withstand a symmetrical fault level of 65 KA at 415 volts. Panels shall be fabricated in easily transportable sections, length, height, depth etc. to match with site condition. To ensure installation consistency during switchboard life cycle, installation system, switchgears, components and metering devices must be supplied by the same Manufacturer (OEM).LV Switchboards above 800A shall be certified by 3rd party Certification body as per IEC 61439-1, 2. Test reports without certificate shall not be considered admissible proof of compliance. The Certifying Authority shall be qualified under ISO/IEC 17065 as per IEC 61439-1.IEC 61439 Certificate to be made available for all ratings of LV Switchboards as mentioned in Schedule of Quantities or Single Line Diagram for this project. 2 Note:The following provisions shall be required to be made in the Main LT Panel as detailed below: 3 a) Certified design of switchboards shall be proven design from OEM (Original Equipment/ Switchgear Manufacturer). OEM name should be mentioned on top of each column of switchboard. Also, OEM Partnership Certificate shall be furnished by Panel builder. 4 b) Switchboards shall have Rated Impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) of 12kV for withstanding against transient Overvoltages, for which the values of clearances are referred 5 c) Switchboards shall be tested for Internal arc withstand of 65kA for 0.3 sec as per IEC61641. The test should be performed for arc starting place - at Horizontal busbar, Vertical busbar and in outgoing cable compartments 6 d) As Aluminium busbar are recommended for switchboard - Internal arc test to be performed on switchboards having Aluminium busbar. Reports with Cu busbar design shall not be accepted as proof of compliance. 7 e) All covers and doors provided shall offer adequate safety to operating persons and provide ingress protection of IP42 unless otherwise stated. Ventilating openings and vent outlets, if provided, shall be arranged such that same ingress protection of IP 42 is retained.Switchboards must have mechanical impact level of IK09 level 8 f) The Air Circuit breaker switchgear should be smart and should be able to communicate through bluetooth for maintainence date and wear and tear loss of poles of breaker. This shall help user to plan predicitive maintainence 9 g) Panel shall be supplied with a double door arrangement. Global Door/ Front Door shall be fitted with preferably transparent Glass to allow maintenance staff to visually access device status, meter readings, indicating lamp status without opening the door. IP level & Mechanical impact performance of the panel shall not be compromised in any scenario and shall remain at IP42 andIK09level respectively, in all conditions 10 h) Incomer and bus section panels or sections shall be separate and independent and shall not accommodate any outgoing feeder. The incomer panel shall be suitable for receiving bus trunking or LV cable of size specified. 11 i) Busbars shall be made of high conductivity, and high strength Aluminium E91E grade. Busbars shall be of rectangular cross sections, with 10mm thickness, better suitable for full rated current for phase busbars and half/ full rated current for neutral busbar or as stipulated in schedule of quantities. Busbar shall be suitable to withstand the stresses of fault level as specified in schedule of quantities. 12 j) The Switchboards shall have provision to accommodate all cables from the bottom /top as required.As specified in the BOM the switchboard shall be form 3b. For forms of separation to be achieved, only metallic covers shall be used. Hylem/ PVC sheets shall not be allowed.For ratings upto 1600A, design of LV Switchboards shall be such that Main Horizontal Busbar can be assembled at Top or at Bottom of Switchboard, to achieve less footprint, depending on site conditions viz. Cable Entry from Top/ Cable Entry from bottom etc. Busbar supports should be specifically supplied by OEM and made of Glass Reinforced Polyamide. 13 k) All live accessible parts shall be finger touch proof. The busbar insulation shall be with heat shrinkable sleeves according to the colour code. Rear spreaders shall be used in MCCBs to achieve the finger touch proof design. No hylam sheets is allowed. All MCCB door handle shall be interlocked and lockable in OFF position. 14 l) Switchboards, panels and cubicles shall be fabricated with CRCA Sheet Steel of thickness, same as that of tested assembly according to IEC61439-1 & 2. Sheet thickness for Load bearing frame structures shall not be less than 2.0 mm and shall be folded and braced as necessary to provide a rigid support for all components. The side pillars shall be made of a 9 fold desing to have better mechanical stregnth and there should be no welding in complete panel. Also, the doors and covers shall be fabricated from CRCA sheet steel of thickness not less than 1.6 mm.
